I had the chimichanga and it was amazing! It came with rice, beans, guac and sour cream . Not to mention the tortilla chips they brought before the meal which were excellent also. My buddy had the Mexican pizza and he said that it was the best Mexican pizza he’s ever had. So all in all it was a great experience and the waiter was super polite. There was not many people in the restaurant. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Ordered Huevos Rancheros for myself and my wife. Said $10.95 online. When I arrived it was $13.52. To make it worse, no Ranchero sauce on my Huevos. Won’t be rushing down here anytime soon. Go to Las Barcas.

My boss brought me here once and we occasionally come after jobsite meetings. Their lengua tacos are huge and loaded with meat, their refried beans are very tasty. Recommend their chile relleno and crunchy tacos.

Consistency is key. Casa Jimenez has stood the test of time in HB because of good Mexican staples, fair prices and great service. Mural art has a rustic feel, and typically no wait for seats. Can always catch a sports game, some tasty chips and salsa, and a cold cerveza when you visit this joint. Carnitas, Chile rellenos, and shrimp Diablo are on point and my goto’s. Could have a bit stronger margaritas.
