Casa di Roma is Meriden’s best pizza place! Being a Meriden resident for decades it’s safe to say we’ve tried all the pizza joints in town. At Casa di Roma, you actually want to eat the crust. I get annoyed when I order a pizza and half of it is crust that is inedible. Not here! They put the toppings right to the edge. Even the kids eat the crust that’s how good it is. No rubbery dough. Delivery is always within an hour and we live on the outskirts of town. And the prices. Very inexpensive comparatively. It is the triangle slices Meriden is known for. I grew up on Square slices so it took several years to get used to the triangle thin crusts. However, their pizza doesn’t droop over when picking up a piece. It’s crisp and cut all the way through so you are not taking all the cheese from the next piece. The meatballs and steak grinders are super as well! Tip: Always look for their Facebook deals. As inexpensive as they are, they still offer great additional deals! Mmm

This place is awesome. The food remains fantastic, and they returned to having a small dining room with a great staff. The portions are extremely big for the cost, and they don’t sacrifice taste.

Take out tonight. Ordered at 5:15 and was told an hour. Arrived at 6:17 and proceeded to wait until 7:05 to be given my food order. All food was cold except for the kids portion of penne pasta. Pizza was average and my fiancée was disgusted by her steak and cheese wrap. Maybe a rough night for them, but I will never find out because I will never step foot in this establishment again.
