My family loves the wings here. They’re not breaded like a lot of places. You can buy so many wings here for a fraction of what it costs anywhere else, and they get the orders done so quickly. It’s definitely not 5-star dining, but you take 50 delicious wings home and eat until you’re ashamed of yourself without breaking the bank.

The food was ok. The machaca burrito was good but the deshebrada was a big disappointment. The ham and cheese torta was good but small. They have bigger tortas at KeFlauta and Tepalca for less money. The salsas are ok, but not spicy enough. Overall, not a bad place to try.

It’s a no frills restaurant with amazing food and I’ll take amazing food over fancy any day. I’m a vegetarian and it’s really hard to find vegetarian Mexican food in El Paso. They are one of the few places that do not put lard in their beans. I typically get their veggie burrito. They use grilled green chili in it, which is a huge plus. I love their fresh made salsa verde. It’s the perfect amount of smokey with a slight kick that adds an additional layer of flavor. I also like that I can get smoothies with fresh fruit, especially since I can get it with cantaloupe. I’m really happy I found Casa de Torta!

I got the green Chile burrito. I’m Hispanic so maybe I’m picky but it wasn’t that good. It just lacked flavor overall. I came during the lunch hour. It seems they need someone to take phone orders. Poor girl on her own in charge of drive thru, regular orders, and phone. Cmon.
