7/16/23 Lunch. My wife had a chicken quesadilla (3), and I had a steak fajita quesadilla (3.5, with green peppers). Our plates were too hot to touch! Both dishes were filling and good, and we both brought home leftovers.

The food is so delicious. The pico to Gallo is the best! Our server was very sweet.

Can’t recommend Casa De Oro enough. Local to the area, its hard to find a good Mexican restaurant that ticks off all the boxes. Casa De Oro does so and so much more. Family run with a family friendly atmosphere, you’re immediately greeted every time you walk in the door . You’ll be hard pressed to find a better welcoming offer of the warm chips, queso, pico, and salsa offered here unless you’re in the casa of an abuela. The staff is friendly and attentive, recommend visiting during happy hour between 2 and 5. We’ve worked our way through most of the menu and can’t get enough of the Chili Colorado and the Camarones de Casa De Oro. Any dishes with stewed meats are good as is Miguel’s Special, a family favorite as well. Definitely recommend the Chicken en Mole and Enchiladas Banderas. I could keep going on, but those are a few of our top hits. Worth seeking out!

I come from a highly Hispanic populated town with 3 Mexican restaurants on Main Street alone yet this is the best Mexican food I’ve had. The only thing I didn’t find amazing was the refried beans and they had a lower variety of mixed drinks but everything else was awesome. Would go again if I’m in town.

Okay so…queso? Yep, that’s what arrives at your table shortly after you do, with a basket of crispy chips, salsa and bright pico de gallo. Two ice teas, chicken and shrimp fajita platter and a chimichanga combo arrived and everything was muy delicioso! Our Waitress was the best, kind attentive and personable. She seemed to have the locals orders memorized. We did not imbibe in their alcoholic offerings but they looked good. One things for sure, when you stop by Casa de Oro you have struck gold!

The tortilla soup was good. I ordered a beef tostada that tasted ok but the presentation was sloppy. We also ordered a Chili Relleno and it was a hot mess of cheese and beans, the relleno pepper was hard to find – again just sloppy presentation and improper proportions.
