On July 21 I made a reservation for Sunday evening August 6 to celebrate our 57th anniversary.The reservation was taken by a woman who answered the phone. I requested seating in a particular area which she said she would note but could not guarantee. Understandable. Since I made the reservation so early I called back the first week in August only to be told by the man who took my call they only accepted reservations for six or more. He then asked when we were coming and when I told him Sunday evening around 6:00PM he assured me that would not be a problem because they were never busy on Sunday evenings. We arrived at 5:45PM. We were asked if we were with the “party.” When we said no we were told they could not seat us in the restaurant but would serve us in the “garden area” where it was 90 degrees. We left along with the three people who had come in after us.I was aware people have complained about the service at this restaurant but the last thing I expected was this fiasco on our 57th anniversary.

I made a reservation for my birthday dinner for 6 online and thought to call to see if they have that annoyance fee to use a credit card. They confirmed that at they do charge extra for credit card use. No where is this stated on their website. In all fairness I believe this should be stated clearly on websites and relayed to customers when making reservations. Once at the restaurant, even if it is posted it is too late to make sure you bring enough cash. I canceled my reservation as I am boycotting businesses who do this.

I can’t speak highly enough about this fabulous restaurant. The food is meticulously prepared. Everything they serve is special including the roasted garlic, homemade Caesar dressing and their lemon infused water. The owner, Jerry is an inviting and humble man, very welcoming and ready to serve. I had Summer and she is just full of life and love…. Is there more than five stars?

Our first visit will be our last. Good points…nice quiet atmosphere, dimly lit and clean. Salads very good and fresh and the wine a reasonable price and decent. Bad points….the Rigatoni alla Vodka was tasteless. Looked good but bland, without any Vodka or Pancetta presence. The Branzino Francais was fresh but tasteless. Prepared with zero seasoning or very little at best. Really disappointed, especially for $112.00

Delicious Italian food, chicken parm was super fresh and pounded thin and crispy. Pasta was tender and delicious with the bolognese. Fettuccine Alfredo was perfect. Service was attentive and friendly. Excellent restaurant for a quality Italian meal.
