We came here on a Saturday night for dinner, I ordered the two chicken enchiladas and my wife had the 2 green corn tamales.

We had gone several years ago with friends from out of town. We finally were able to get the servers attention which turned out to be the actual owner( the elderly gentleman I believe.) After he took our order and we were given our drinks, as we were conversing with our friends, and suddenly realized that it had been a while since anything, was brought out to us. We flagged down another server and come to find out the elderly gentleman had left to do errands and forgot to turn our order in.!

We are very picky about our mexican food. We like it fresh and you can’t get it any fresher here. Ben and his team do an amazing job! This by far is the best mexican food in the quad cities!

I rated an overall 4 based on the service, which was a 5+. The food was just OK, yes I would go back, but I wouldn’t crave to go back (a 4 for me is a place I frequent. A 5 is a place I crave to go back). The margaritas were just ok as well, not enough booze, and too much ice in the frozen one made it taste watered down. The atmosphere was really nice. Overall, it was a good place to grab some average Mexican food but with great service.

Awful! I brought a good friend from the Verde Valley here. For a celebration and we Arrived, we waited and then we went ahead and seated ourselveves. we sat there for over 15 minutes. No Menu’s or munchies. I had to holler at someone because we needed water, and then they only brought one water for 1 of us. And it took another 10 minutes. To get another water.. Then again just sitting there. I had to nab another person and ask them for some chips and salsa and menus. When the salsa finally was brought out. The young man who brought it spilled salsa on my friend’s clothing. We had made our selection And finally had a chance to order. it took over an hour to get our food . we had to ask Why was taking so long. When we finally did get our dinner, it was not good. I ordered a chimichanga and it was. Very limp and soggy. Beans, not so good and rice was awful. my friend ordered a Tamali and could hardly eat it because it was so spicy. This was my first time here and also definitely my last! Very poor service, bad food, and the wait time was ridiculous for not very busy restaurant. I do Not recommend!

Phenomenal service and Legitimate (capital L) Mexican food. As a bonus, a nice little walking path adjacent that cuts through all of town is directly adjacent to the restaurant.
