Very quaint and small restaurant, but don’t let it’s size fool you. It was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Worth the extra 50 steps past the other restaurants. It is super conveniently located across from the parking garage.

If I could give 1 star I would. Very desperate for a tip. My family of 8 bought muffins, pastries and cold drinks and we could not sit down and was told to leave. Said there was a sign, that states you can not sit unless you buy a meal, and there was no sign before entry nor near the register. Tried to get a coffee to go and was told unless we sit we can not get coffee. There was plenty of seating too, inside and out. Never will buy from here again!

Overall this place is a must try! The food is authentic, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very simple but cozy (4 stars for only 1 restroom shared for both genders, and table space is small for large parties of 4 or more).

Called when they opened today to have them set aside a small carrot cake for me. No problem. I told them I would pick it up at 3pm.. still no problem. I was at restaurant down the street and it was almost 3pm. I called to let them know it would be more like 3:15 for pick up of the cake. I was told there was no cake set aside with my name. I asked again if they could do it. The girl in the phone sounded annoyed and said “I’ll put one in a box for you”… I was mid-sentence asking something about the pickup time and she hung up on me. When I went it to pick it up, I asked the girl at the register if it was her I talked to on the phone and she said yes. I told her “I was still talking to you and you hung up on me”…. She said “oh”. No apology, nothing! So rude! The girls working are high school/college age and acted like they didn’t even want to be there! They were standing around giggling… not even paying attention to other customers in the store. Never greeted anyone or even said hello. Don’t work if you don’t want to, but if you do or need to then learn some customer service skills! It goes a long way in life! I will NEVER go back to the Yorktown location!

Great option for those seeking gluten free, healthier or vegetarian options. All sandwiches or wraps can be made gluten free and sides are fresh and light like: fresh sliced apples, cucumber salad, carrot salad, etc. Didn’t give 5 stars because interior was really small, wished there was more seating inside but definitely a great lunch spot for those with dietary restrictions!

Second time here…more amazing this time. The ham salad croissant was so heavenly. Hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The buttery crispy croissant made the sandwich scrumptious… The turkey wrap with blue cheese spread and walnuts was very yummy too. I’ll never forget that ham croissant though! Love the Yorktown location!

Cute little cafe right on the shore of VA. We stopped in here to eat because everywhere else was packed. Order at the counter and found a seat instantly. The food was very good. Service was okay. A whole family that came in after us was served before us.

Went here with my adult daughter. Lovely location. Food was homemade. My croissant sandwich was excellent. Was definitely pricey, but at least food lived up to it.
