Went for Sunday brunch, and it was our first time visiting. We were not disappointed. The interior is clean, fresh, and had plenty of seating. The service was fast, the food was delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. The big breakfast plate was a lot of food! The fruit cup was fresh, too. Bottomless good coffee. Parking is right out front. We’ll be back!

This is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at. It’s a bit more upscale but well worth it. The picture is of my Crab Crusted Haddock and it was amazing. The Haddock was cooked perfectly and the way the crab crust was done was perfect. You won’t be disappointed.

First time back since the renovation. Love the changes and updates. We stop in for a birthday dinner. Ordered the prime rib special and the crab cake dinner. Both dinners came with preselected sides??? Not very good. The prime rib was also not the best, especially for the money. The crab cake was a big disappointment, to much filler not enough lump meat. Certainly not a $35.00 meal. The haddock meal was good. The appetizer of oysters were good, nice presentation! Overall we ate the meals didn’t send anything back. But for the price, not up to par with the last crab cake meal we had there years ago.

Beautiful, and historic restaurant in a quaint town. We walked in without reservations and we were surprised with a live Piano player. Very nice! I had the Pork Chop. My wife had the meat loaf. Both were excellent! What a nice surprise to find this gem, just about 20 minutes drive north of Frederick. Highly recommend! Well done

Another 1st-time experience that was awesome! Went there on a bus trip that included the meal. They set up a buffet for us. We had a split-level room with plenty of food and dessert homemade chocolate chip cookies, very generously sized. Plan to go back to the area on my own to see more history and make another trip to The Carriage House for another great meal.
