Great place! My sons (8 & 4) and I really enjoyed our breakfast yesterday, and we came back for more today! The service is amazing and they make you feel at home. We ordered the following: waffle plates with scrambled eggs, blueberry lemon cake, and an iced vanilla latte. Very very good! Def recommend.

Pretty much a local here, so I’ve seen this location’s different lives. Happy there’s another wonderful choice for coffee! I’m a fan of the Ll—-down the street, but this place offered cafe de olla, which I am loving as I’m writing. They put 2 scoops of brown sugar which is far too sweet for me, so I asked for 1/2 of 1 scoop, and they obliged. It’s PERFECT! Another thing I love is that there is more space to sit and spread out inside and out. I like to work in cafes so this is def going on the list of preferred “offices”.

Love this place! Come here every day of my week long vacation. The owner and staff are incredibly accommodating. The avocado toast is THE BEST you’ll ever have. A little spicy mayonnaise, a little lemon, crunchy onion and sprouts on a chibata bread! Yum! Super cozy as well with books to read and cozy chairs like you’re at home!

My husband and I couldn’t decide between the iced Cafe de Olla and the Milky Way Latte so we got both, and they were both delicious. I had low expectations for a good Cafe de olla in Carpinteria but I was actually super impressed, it was really tasty. I didn’t know if I was going to like the lavender in the Milky Way latte but it worked really well. Definitely on the sweeter side, so I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like sweet coffee drinks.

Always on the look for new coffee shops and decided to stop in to grab some coffee and study a bit. The coffee shop is very spacious with outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor seating had fewer seats but the chairs were comfy with a few scattered tables around to put laptops and personal belongings on. The prices were a bit high when looking at the menu, but they did have a great selection of smoothies, pastries, food, and coffee to choose from. I only ordered a small coffee (iced americano $5) which had great flavor. There was free wifi available and bathrooms for customers which is always appreciated. The staff was very friendly and were there for suggestions if I needed any. Overall, I had a good experience and would come again. The free public parking around the corner made it also very convenient too. I did notice the floor and chairs were a bit dirty with crumbs and such from past customers who came in that day. I got a napkin and cleaned up the area I wanted to sit in so I wouldn’t get my study materials dirty. Not that big of a deal (probably caught them at a bad time) but just wanted to note that. Will definitely come back again and try some food options next time!

Love carp moon! Their coffee is so good. Whatever ratio they have with their drinks is perfect. Not overly sweet like the sugar bombs at Starbucks. Get the cafe de olla. The coffee is a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. It may not have the new, expensive style and aesthetic like newer places but don’t let that stop you from going in. Nice owners and great service. If they added a few more fresh, in house made food items then I think that would really bring this place up to full potential. Try it out!

Very helpful and friendly baristas with a welcoming vibe to a unique setting. Tried the spiced moon latte found to be an enjoyable spin on the otherwise overused pumpkin spice so many of us are getting tired of. The Americano was also noticeably better than the average with good flavour, right temp and no bitterness.

My family loves Carp Moon Cafe. The baristas are kind, the pastries and drinks are delicious. It costs a bit more than Starbucks, but it’s a small local business that I feel good supporting. My favorite food to order is the salmon avocado toast, the spicy sauce on it is wonderful! My son will often request going to Carp Moon Cafe for the smoothies. The only reason I don’t give five stars is I wish there was a changing table in the bathroom, either one that folds down from the wall or a small table with a changing pad, there’s plenty of room!
