Carolyn became certified as a MWBE ( Minority Woman Business Enterprise). This certification allows J. Carolyn to cater many contracted opportunities with government agencies. J. Carolyn takes pride in preparing her dishes with special seasonings and ingredients. J. Carolyn believes that the presentation along with the taste and flavor of each dish is the key of a successful event.

A beautiful hidden gem! The restaurant is so clean and food is made to order. Not only is the restaurant immaculate but the food is delicious! Everything I ordered was so tasty! Just moved into the neighborhood and WOW glad I walked in to Carolyn’s! The chicken was tender melted off the bone, the cornbread was airy and soft…mac and cheese was great. This is probably the best place to get lunch – I got the lunch special…all this food was 7$ !! It was amazing! Would definitely come back. They got themselves a forever repeat customer!! Support local businesses!

I am the owner of a health and wellness company. I hosted a vision board event for small business owners such as myself. I asked Carolyn if I could hold the event there and she was so accommodating. My guests and I enjoyed the use of the space and most importantly we enjoyed the food and her staff were warm and welcoming. My guests were happy so the event was a success. The Mac and cheese egg roll was sooooo good. I would come back just for that! Fried chicken was really good. Tasty and perfectly crisp skin. My waffles (had chicken and waffles) were undercooked and couldn’t eat them. Food is made to order, so come here with time. No alcohol served.

The Mac n cheese egg roll is delicious. However the service needs improvement as some food was undercooked, some sides weren’t served or cold, the menu is incorrect, and the hospitality is mediocre. This place has potential, just needs more help and more thorough training. Definitely worth a try.
