SERVICE WAS GREAT! We got 2 eggs, bacon, 2 pancakes and biscuits N gravy. Out favorite was biscuits and gravy!!!! I also really enjoyed the pancakes they were sweet but so good!

So. The food was not tasty at all. The thing that bothered me the most was at the check out line there were three customers ahead of me and each of them were asked if they were veterans. When it came up to be my turn she never asked. I am a Marine Corps Veteran. Having served several overseas combat tours and I am a retired disabled veteran. Weird thing is that there is a sign in their counter about discounts for Veterans, Law Enforcement and First Responders but it is unethical to ask for a discount. And yes I am a Police Officer and my lunch partner is also in Law Enforcement. Just won’t be going back. Thanks for the eye opening experience. Overall I am not complaining about the discount it was the fact that she asked everyone else in line and just assumed I wasn’t a veteran or in Law Enforcement

Carolyn’s is the epitome of the good old-fashioned Mom and Pop, Hometown restaurant that you miss. The staff are welcoming, the wait time short, the service fast and friendly and the food excellent. I mean, these folks make their own biscuits come a pancakes and – above all – gravy, sauces and roux. I’d recommend Carolyn’s to anyone.

This place is very clean. Service was great. My son had a great hamburger and I had the best fried chicken livers I’ve ever had along with cabbage and fried squash. Reasonable prices.

Was in the neighborhood and stopped in for an early lunch. Our meal was nothing special, was just ok. My husband and I both had a cheeseburger with french fries. Nice atmosphere and service was decent. Probably will not return if looking to eat in Midlothian again.

I came here with my son yesterday, 3/17 and had a great brunch! My son ordered chicken tenders and I got a burrito. They were out of biscuits with gravy, so I got the burrito instead and it was tasty. My only complaint was that it could have been wrapped better, as it was falling apart. But that doesn’t take away a star. Will definitely be returning:)

We were in town for a wedding, staying at a hotel down the street. I was looking for a local restaurant for our group to stop in for breakfast. Caroline’s was exactly what I was looking for – had the feeling of a small, mom and pop style restaurant. When we walked inside I heard the hostess tell a guest “see y’all tomorrow” – so I knew it was good. The menu had a lot of options that I considered classic for a southern style breakfast. I ordered the “two eggs any style with corn beef hash and biscuits or toast.” I ordered my biscuit with gravy, grits on the side and my eggs over medium. Everything was cooked exactly as asked. The food came out quick and the service was SO friendly – always ready with a coffee warm up if needed. Would recommend if you’re in the area and want local food!

First time here. Just a tad too early this morning for the biscuits. But we still had other choices and the service was great. The omelet was really tasty. Hashbrowns crispy on one side and softer on the other side. She has the eggs sausage Hashbrowns with a pancake instead of toast or biscuit. Every thing was hot and fresh. And the pancake was really good. We definitely will be back.
