If you visit Key West you have to grab a bite to eat at Caroline’s!!!! Staff is extremely friendly. Food is to die for! Full of flavor and plenty to eat on the plate! Great location and prices are great! So come on down to Key West and fill up with some fantastic food!

I recently had a delightful dining experience at Caroline’s Cafe in Key West, Florida. The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful patio dining area. It was perfect for enjoying the Florida sunshine while savoring my meal. The fact that the restaurant allows dogs made it even better as I was able to bring my furry friend along. The staff even brought over a bowl of water for my pup to enjoy.

Outdoor spot covered by huge umbrellas and cooled with water fans. It’s a small spot with a great atmosphere and great service. We all had the fish sandwich (what they’re known for) and it was humongous and tasty. The conch fritters were some of the best we had in the keys. Definitely a great lunch spot to try if you’re in Key West!

My wife and I had a great time at Caroline’s Cafe. We had wings for appetizers and both had Chicken and shrimp jambalaya, which was fantastic! It was so much food, had to take the rest to go as well as a piece of their delicious Keylime pie!

I was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant. When we sat down, we didn’t have high expectations because it was the first restaurant we came across and we were sooo hungry. The food delighted us. Portion size, speed, service, taste – all commendable. The salad was huge, as was the sandwich, and the pasta and paella were full of flavor. If you are looking for a place for a quick lunch in Key West, you have my recommendations.

We ducked in here to get out of a torrential downpour while walking Duval Street. Although we were still seated outside, the umbrellas were large enough to keep us dry. I must say, it was fortuitous that we ducked in here. We shared a pretty good appetizer of Conch Fritters, but our sandwiches were amazing. I had the fish sandwich, which was probably the best I’ve ever had. The batter was light. The fish was very fresh and flaky, the tartar was very different and tasty and the sandwich itself was humongous. I had to break off 2 ends and gave them to my BF, who had ordered the house burger, which was also humongous. It was done just right and included blue cheese and all the fixings. Both were so filling, Neither one of us could eat our side of fries (3 lucky dogs that night). In addition, our server was very attentive and on the ball. If you are on Duval St and looking for a bite, I highly recommend Caroline’s. PS: They had Heinz Ketchup. Always a plus!

My husband had the chicken sandwich and it was sooo good! If I haven’t had eaten, I’d get the same sandwich as well. It was really flavorful and pared well with the key lime drink. We shared a slice of key lime pie and it was really refreshing!

We ate lunch there and the atmosphere was great. The food was OK but I didn’t like the fish sandwich. Fish and chips would be my first choice if it was on the menu. The service was OK and the restaurant overall was average for an American style restaurant

We ate in the courtyard during Lobsterfest 2023. It was a fundraiser lobster boil to kick off lobster season in the Keys. Everything was cooked to perfection and entire server, cook and management was spot on and friendly. See photos for food descriptions.
