Ordered through DoorDash very late. Close to closing and was satisfied! The fried chicken was seasoned really well. Greens and Mac n cheese were good. Greens had a little bit more salt than I’d like but I’d still eat them again lol They were good. You can tell I had the last of the Mac n cheese since it was late so it wasn’t that fresh but still really good. They don’t have high chairs/booster seats for kids so I probably won’t be going in to eat any time soon ( I have a toddler) but I’m sure I’ll be ordering again through DoorDash!

I’m disappointed! First, the fried chicken isn’t crunchy at all and has very little flavor. The Mac n cheese was oily and also lacked flavor, and the greens were super dry…and also had zero flavor. I’m in shock tbh. Def won’t be coming back.

My first time here in this establishment…it was calm an nice…the music was on point…great customer service…very clean an spacious…the lady was nice an chill….so I ordered the fried chicken meal with Mac & cheese an yams…w/ a sweet tea…it was delicious…an I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu…also thank you for the sample of potato salad…

What a disappointment. I’m giving this 2 stars because it’s convenient to where we live and honestly, that’s it. We ordered 3 meals and paid $50!! As you can see the portion sizes are small, the sides were not homemade and the chicken was over cooked-dry. My husband got the white meat chicken coop meal and typically you get a breast and a wing right? Well not here, the chef/owner said the wing is attached to the breast . I got red beans and rice as one of my sides. I’ve never seen it done like this. The beans literally sat on top the rice and there was 1 piece of sausage, no gravy or anything. I had to add hot sauce to give it ANY flavor. Even the mash potatoes came without gravy. It’s a shame bc my hubby and I are foodies and we love to support black Businesses , and this place here is just unacceptable. Unfortunately, they probably won’t be open very long.

My 1st eating there. You can tell they was short on staff but right now everywhere is but the young lady was handling herself & the other customers well & I appreciate that. They don’t have a big menu & they was out of certain things but what we did order was good & worth coming back. I also like the atmosphere you can tell who the regulars. The owner is very sweet as well.

Ordered shrimp and grits, it was soupy and lacked flavor. My husband had whiting with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. The fish was seasoned well but it was really hard and difficult to chew. The sides were ok but for the portions it was really overpriced. We will not be trying this restaurant again

Upscale atmosphere beautiful place! Great food and drinks i had the two pork chops tasty fresh yams, fresh collards with smoke turkey, mac n cheese the food is very tasteful I demolished my plate then I had some southern sweet tea along with a sweet cold glass of Moscato. The music was so chilled this my go to spot for a date or a game date maybe even a night out Thanks for the hospitality. Staff is professional and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND….

Man!!!! Even though the wait was pretty long (only due to it being a fairly new business, which is normal) the food was AMAZING! Hey, I don’t play about my food. And Im that girl that all my friends call to find out what’s good. So I wouldn’t steer you wrong. I ordered the fried chicken, fried okra & potato salad. When I tell you it was bangin! Please believe me. And I don’t eat everybody’s potato salad. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. The okra was fresh! I just want to go back and try the fish and the fried pork chops! They looked so good on the plate that someone sitting next to me at another table ordered. I can’t wait to go back! I forgot to take pictures of my food so I could post.
