We just moved to Sparks from eastern NC so getting a taste of home where BBQ Pork is has vinegar in it and collard greens is a choice of side. I did with they had peppered vinegar for the greens but it was definitely worth it.

This was the best catered BBQ I have ever had! Every item was cooked or made to perfection. We had an order for 35 and could have easily fed 45. They also worked hard on a late catering change in day of delivery. Great place at a great price. Not only the food but the price beat every other competitor we got quotes from.

A good representation of Eastern North Carolina BBQ, although it’s not whole hog chopped. The Collards, Sweet Tea & Peach Cobbler were on point. I was surprised there was no Banana Pudding, but I do have a recipe if y’all are interested. We’ll definitely back when we’re back in Sparks.

Overall great place. Stumbled upon this restaurant from a locals recommendation. The wings were huge and well made. The Ribs were top notch with their own BBQ sauce. The sampler is a massive plate of food. If your in Reno or the surrounding area. Check this place out.

Based off the other reviews thought it might be worth my time to give this place a shot unfortunately I was disappointed. There was slight discrepancy on their definition of “barbecue” the chicken was smoked and the lack of that specification let us to order something that we didn’t enjoy at all. Additionally all of the barbecue sauces were terrible I guess that’s how they do it in Carolina but no dice it was terrible. I guess to sum it all up it’s like the equivalent of eating at a high school cafeteria. If you’re having a day where you’re questioning life and you don’t know what to do with yourself then I would suggest eating here. Perfect atmosphere for the barn yard type. Ultimately yes technically speaking it’s edible but you could probably do better. They were out of the brisket which is what I truly wanted so I can’t judge that but as far as the pulled pork and the chicken goes no dice.

Smoked chicken and fried okra great. Brisket and corn bread ok, collards good. Pickles are a bit different. Took a bit to get food during off peak. Ordering system is a little challenging til you get the hang of it.
