The pasta was incredible and seemed very fresh and authentic. We were all very impressed. This is definitely some of the best italian in the city by far, despite the prices. You definitely get good sized portions for the money too! The gnocchi in tomato cream sauce, the pesto, the burrata and garlic bread, were all amazing. The garlic bread was some of the best Ive ever had. The chicken parm was enormous. The risotto was delicious, and the gnocchi bake in bolognese was very good too

Absolutely zero complaints as this place was wonderful! Very friendly and attentive service without being too much. We had the garlic bread as an appetizer which came with the best marinara sauce I think I have ever had, so yummy! For our main courses we had the Penne Matriciana, which had delicious meatballs and sausage, and the Linguine Arrabiata (they were kind enough to let me sub the linguine for penne and remove the eggplant). The arrabiata sauce was INCREDIBLE. Just the right amount of spice and so much flavor.

The place was tiny and cramped prices are a little steep but the food was massive! Super tasty authentic Italian, great neighborhood place.

Finally made it here as it’s been on my list for years. As others have mentioned the space is cozy, would recommend a reservation to ensure a table. Seems very family oriented. Service was good. Portions are huge and the homemade pasta was great. No bread which I do like with Italian food and also prices are high. Some things are a little old school like having to call to make a reservation and only allowing one card per table.

Legit, some of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had have been at Caro Mio. Fell in love with this place well over 10 years ago in their former location.

Great experience here at Caro Mio. Service was exceptional, professional and prompt. This location has only a few tables and I recommend making a reservation prior. Started out with the mushroom special which was underwhelming. For my main course I ordered the homemade gnocchi which was superb. Each bite was light and melted in your mouth. Also the Pollo alla parmigiana was thinly flattened and rich sauce. Entrees come in large portions so be prepared to have leftovers. Note this restaurant is BYOB. If you are searching for a classic Italian dinner with homemade noodles this is the spot to check out.

The service was friendly but slow, which I wouldn’t have minded if the food was good. I had the rigatoni and the chicken was inedible, pasta and sauce was ok. My husband had the risotto and he could barely eat it, basically a plate of cheese. We did have the burrata appetizer which was actually pretty good. Was $100 for two people, no drinks. Way too expensive for bad food. There are way better Italian restaurants in the city, go to those.

The food was delicious, the service was so nice, and I love that it is BYOB with no corking fee as well. Definitely try one of the homemade pastas – they are incredible!

I really wanted to like this restaurant. The cacciatore was rubbery and had barely any meat on the bones.
