First time there and food is Really good however lack of customer service I expect more personable specially being newer in Reno I’m not from Guadalajara where the authentic Tortas ahogada but they are really good and Tacos Of Canasta are a must try be careful with the salsa is Hot.

I went in the order for to go and this is probably one of the best Mexican places locally. I rarely like rice and beans from restaurants but these were absolutely delicious. I ordered a torta and an enchilada plate. It took about 15 minutes to bring out the food. Boyfriend enjoyed the torta and I was happy with my enchiladas, they were packed with meat and flavorful. Definitely want to come amd try again but eat there next time.

Simply amazing food, delicious tasted, great service a must try if you like are a fan of unique items they offer. Their champurrado ? The flavor and consistency is better than most. Their tortas ahogada? Was delicious and perfection as I had imagined and bit more. I originally tried them elsewhere but was not a fan, but that instance it was just lacking I knew it couldn’t be such popular dish and be so lacking in flavor, I’m glad I I tried them here. The ahogada has the perfect bread, crunchy so it doesn’t get soggy but definitely want the sauce without it not quite a ahogada which stands for smothered. The sauce was well balanced quite flavorful and the sauce provided to add spiciness was perfect. I had to go back to try their birria and ordered chico which came with 6 hand made tortillas. For a restaurant it was the best I’ve had, it was tender not gammy at all and fell apart, it had no smell or quite subtle which is a must and why most forwnbupon because others don’t prepare properly.

This is a pretty popular place for lunch around 1:00pm with the Mexican crowds. I walked in and felt like I was back home in Texas or Arizona with so many Hispanic customers dining in.

Agree with a previous review, I was so happy to finally find a Mexican restaurant in Reno with flavor!! The goat birria was fantastic, they have salsa options that are spicy, 10/10 will go back again. Our server was friendly and the service was fast.

First off there’s no tejuino all the time so it’s a hit and miss which is the main reason we went second $14 for this torta de birria not even close to worth it meat was dry torta was really small and it’s goat mixed with lamb this are words from the waitress herself now the carnitas in the other hand were very good, great tacos de carnitas I do give credit were credit is do lots of room in the restaurant and parking space it was empty tho

I love coming here for authentic Mexican food! Not to mention that the owners are very personable, Francisco has come to greet my family and I seeing how often we go. Our waitress Carolina always has a wonderful smile when waiting on my friends and family. And absolutely adore coming in at nights on the weekends to listen to her and Francisco sing LIVE. I have not been to a family restaurant run like this, 1000% recommend!
