I came after the morning rush and they still had some carnitas to sell. First time having legit carnitas where you have to order by the body part. Had a surtida taco (mix), cuerito (skin), and then a costilla (rib). All tasted amazing and were different texturally. I wanted to try buche (stomach) but they sold out already. Portion size was huge. I had ordered two more surtida tacos but had to bring them home. Owner is super nice and told me his story about how he was born here but learned how to make michoacan style carnitas from his uncles who show up in the Netflix Taco Chronicles episode during Quiroga market segment. Definitely a repeat and worth the trip if you’re looking to try authentic carnitas. Amazing food experience.

Let me tell you guys a short story, our parents come from a small town called Quiroga (Michoacan) which is known for their delicious carnitas. Majority of our family sell carnitas and are well known over there. So if you ever go to Michoacan, take a trip to Quiroga we decided to bring a little bit of Quiroga to the H So delicious you will not be disappointed. We sell by the pound or tacos. Paco and Marthita have been at it for a long time. They work hard to provide good food to everyone. They are very good down to earth people. Hands down the best Carnitas I’ve ever had. I’m not much of a pork person. But I’ll eat those carnitas. Make sure to check them out. Saturday and Sundays at 9800-9898 Airline Dr 9am until they run out.

I was there for 20 minutes standing and only 3 people got their order. I can’t speak on the food because I did not get to try it since I would have probably waited 1 hr plus since the line was long.

Great service! Great salsa, nopales and pickle onions. And of course the Carnitas are delicious. I prefer a mix of all cuts so I have a little bit of everything.
