Carnitas Michoacan Mexican Food Menu – Atlanta, GA

Type : Mexican restaurant

Location : Atlanta, GA

Authentic Mexican Restaurant inside of Plaza Fiesta, Excellent for the street tacos you will love it. Carnitas Michoacan Style you will die for.
The carnitas of pig are born Creole, because since it is introduced the pig in the Virreinato acquires naturalization paper, as much that today several states of the Mexican Republic dispute their gastronomical origin – Michoacán, Querétaro, Jalisco, Hidalgo, de Mexico and, even, the capital of the country-; nevertheless, they are the michoacanas communities of Quiroga (by its form to prepare this delicacy) and Santa Clara of Cobre (because they make the casseroles in which the pig is fried), those that have acquired greater fame at national level.

Based on 399 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price

In my opinion, it’s best to order here if you’re a regular or can read or recite the menus fluently. Went there on lunch to order 3 steak tacos and though the lady that took my order couldn’t understand what I said, she knew when I pointed to carne asada on the sign. I thought I couldn’t be anymore clear but obviously that’s not what she heard. I got the food and opened it, I was instantly turned off. It definitely wasn’t the tacos that I ordered and the ones they gave me didn’t look appetizing at all. I figured it would be hard going back and asking them to fix it or refund because of the language barrier so I just threw it in the trash. Waste of money.

Some of the better tacos I’ve had in Atlanta. I tried the namesake tacos (i.e. the carnitas) and they were great. The tortillas were handmade, the meat was fresh, and the salsa verde was quite spicy. Prices are affordable and the service is quick. I will no doubt be returning. Highly recommended!

The food was tasty! It wasn’t costly either. I’m glad I came here to try the food out. Usually it’s hard to balance everything out in sopes but they knew how much to put in for each one. The chorizo was okay but I’d stick with the traditional asada. The tacos had a lot of options which were all tasty. The servers were extremely nice and quick! It was crowded when I went there (lunch time) but I didn’t wait at all. This place is in the mall but the restaurant is on one of the isles. Definitely stop by here to eat.

Meat was not fresh. Had carnitas, tongue, chorizo and cuerito tacos and they all tasted old. Also the condiments served looked like they have been in the refrigerator for a while and not covered. Definitely won’t come back or recommend this place.

The place is good, the food is good. The only thing I did not like is that the portion of toppings wasn’t enough.

Came here with a friend of mine To do some shopping. We got a taste for tacos and walked around to different restaurants in the plaza. Until we came across this place. The wait staff was very helpful describing the menu which is obviously Mexican food. We were taken to a table and given menus. Also free chips and salsa. Good service. Authentic Mexican tacos. And very fair prices. Will definitely stop by the next time I’m In the plaza!!!

Great food. Not from the area and very picky when it comes to Mexican food.. I hate Tex Mex.. but deff very authentic. Beans and rice were great, carne asada n torts were amazing.. salsa wasn’t no where near as spicy as I’m used to in Michigan but the food itself made up for that disappointment .. makes me wanna visit again soon just thinking about it during this review lol I’ll bring my habanero or ghost pepper ️ salsa with me though
