I didn’t think you could mess up tacos until I ate here. I have never had a real street taco without cilantro and onions. The meat was so bland no flavor at all and it was bones in both my chicken tacos. The rice was very bland as well. I went on Tuesday when the tacos are $1. I would pay 50 cents for these! I also order 4 and only got 3 but that was good. I ended up throwing it away. I only spent $7 but could have went to Taco Bell and been happy.

Bland tacos.

Hands down the best street tacos in Madison. There chicken is flavorful and there green sauce is spicy but so good. I definitely recommend. I have been going there for about a year now and still keep going back and the people there are so nice and there food is always fresh and they have great prices.

ABSOLUTELY the Best authentic Tacos in Nashville! Drive up widow w outdoor seating only. Super clean kitchen and owned by a very nice family that speaks very limited english. You will not be disappointed! My photo is 2 Carne Asada and 2 Chicken.

It makes me so bummed out that the people running this place are so rude. My partner and I have probably been to this restaurant at least 30-35 times due to the prices and convenience. The last 3 or 4 times the people running were so rude that I swore I would truly never come back. There are so many spots where there isn’t constant eye rolls and lack of disregard for another human when trying to simply place an order…

Food is super bland no seasoning whatsoever the only thing you can taste is the avocado unfortunately. I am mexican myself and this doesn’t pass as authentic mexican food. Only good thing about this place is price & convenience.

I ordered 2 shrimp tacos or tostadas, I honestly don’t remember, and what I got was a tostada shell with cold shrimp and a bit of seasoning and herbs.

Friendly staff and good food. Nothing more to ask for. They have the usuals from the burritos to the tacos, but they also have more traditional dishes like caldo that you usually don’t see in some Mexican restaurants. The portions are pretty good and it’s all priced right. So, you won’t break the bank. Also, if you like spicy food, make sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce.

Definitely my new personal favorite place to get tacos in Nashville. There is a variety of meats for the tacos (a few of which I had never tried) and I was pleased with them all. I will definitely come back and I always recommend Don Juan to my friends. The only possible drawback would occur if you don’t like cilantro (because they piled it on), but I love it!

Flavor is good and prices are fair, but there was just WAY too much grease / oil in both the tacos and the burrito for me. I’m comparing with a taco truck on the west side of town which I like and also several trucks on Nolensville. Also, I lived in Mexico for 6 months and tried tacos in 11 different mexican states. When I was younger the grease wouldn’t have bothered me too much, but if you’re trying to be somewhat healthy, you may want to look elsewhere.
