Folksy diner feel, good food, skip the coffee. Large portions but still, the prices feel high. I’m sure that’s what it takes to stay afloat these days, even so.

Quaint location. Friendly service. Ordered off the side order menu with no complaints from the staff. Coffee good and the best part was bottomless refills. Food was served quickly and warm. As you can see from the picture portions were adequate leaning toward skimpy. I requested dry toast with butter on the side and over medium eggs and received exactly that. I was looking for. A local mom and pop small traditional breakfast eatery and I would say they met all of my requests. I would definitely recommend them with the caveat that if you’re looking for something big city fancy and upscale This is not your place. However, if you’re looking for good value, good food, good service, good location this place hits the mark. I’m hesitant to give this place five stars because I don’t feel there are many places that deserve all five. However, I couldn’t find anything wrong with this place and can’t justify giving them anything less.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. We stopped in for lunch and the service was decent and the food was tasty as well. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that the portion sizes were pretty small for the price. We ordered 2 meals and one additional side from the kids menu, a salad, and a sandwich and a coffee. Our ticket came to right around $65 before the tip which felt like alot for what we got. Otherwise, everything was satisfactory.

I ordered take out to eat at work. I’ve liked this place in the past but today makes me sure I won’t go back. I did a phone order for a veggie omelet- no cheese. I said in the phone order 2 times “no cheese”. You guessed it: it has cheese. So I settled in to eat my hash browns and toast. My hash browns smell and taste like ? They’ve expired ? Or something ? I don’t know what is wrong with them. So far the toast is fine. So I paid $16 for 2 pieces of toast.

Amazing breakfast spot! The hash browns are the best consistency, perfectly crunchy and delicious. Great portion sizes, friendly staff, and a phenomenal cook! I’m happy. And full. So full.

Best eggs Benedict on either side of the Columbia River. The unassuming storefront undersells outstanding food & stellar service. Clean. The coffee is good even by Washington standards, and I found the service exceptionally prompt & friendly. This bicyclist felt welcome, & left well-fed. I hope to come back someday. Thanks, Carmen’s!

Randomly stopped here on a roadtrip and had the best chicken fried steak and eggs of my life. We got there just about 30 minutes before close but they were enthusiastic about having us come in.
