Really wanted to like this place. Fairfax could really use a good Mexican restaurant. Service here was bizarre. The young guy was my server. He kept calling me Boss. How are you, Boss? Is everything alright, Boss? How we doing Boss? No exaggeration, he called me Boss about eight different times. Just very odd. Ordered the Super Nachos with Carnitas. The carnitas had a lot of pieces of fat attached to it and had a burnt, bitter taste. The burnt flavor really put my appetite off. The chips and salsa were very good. The young guy disappeared when I was ready to pay my bill. Went to the counter to pay. Older guy asks me “How was everything Boss” Really, really strange with this Boss routine. Also I noticed on the menu all sodas and Agua Frescas are $5 each. That is a lot of money to charge for soft drinks. The bottom line the food and service was off, so I’m not going back

This restaurant is easily one of the best places to eat in the area. Very friendly staff that makes you feel like you have been going there for years. Some of the best Mexican food in Marin and definitely one of the best values in Fairfax.

My boyfriend and I just had a delicious lunch here! We both love Mexican food but this was exceptional! Chicken tinga was the best I’ve had in the US. Refried beans were on point as well! We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

I have been waiting so long for a good burrito in Fairfax after Grillys left. This is it. My steak fajita burrito was on par with anything I’ve had in the Mission. Chips and salsa are excellent too. Can’t wait to try more of the menu!

Great to have a solid Mexican food option in town. There was a minor issue with our order that I didn’t notice on pickup, and after calling in, the staff offered to drive to our place to correct. Mistakes happen, love how the team handled it.
