I had Panchos and loved them. Service and staff was excellent! I was referred here by Bronco 956 to have lunch. We ate here and had a pleasant experience. The owner, was very nice too.

First, it’s loud, 2 tvs with 1 Spanish and 1 English show and then music on speakers all going on at same time. The server would forget what we asked for and wrote order on his hand.

I was disappointed with the portion given for the avocado appetizer. Perhaps serving it in a smaller plate would help with the presentation, because as soon as it arrived we were all in shock and joked about it. Other than that, the tortillas were good and tables were pretty. Food plates were decent.

The service from the waiters was flat-out horrible. Besides that, the food was greasy, unappetizing and horrendous. I asked for the Mexican burger and the fries looked freshly peeled and doused with grease straight from the fryer pan. The waiter was rude and while I asked for a coffee, she cut me off by saying “ we don’t serve breakfast at this time” I didn’t ask for breakfast. Clearly, waiters are clueless on how to wait a table.

Lunch could’ve been better. Rice was a bit hard and crunchy. Was recommended breakfast. Maybe I’ll try it.

Yum! Long time eater, first time visitor. It was only a short visit but excellent. We had the appetizer. It was delicious. The service started from the moment we walked in and the smiles didn’t stop. Thank you for gray service.

How have I not been here before?! This place is excellent. Very clean. Nice dining area. Brekfast looked very good but I ordered a beef stew. It was really good. Home made corn tortillas, free chips and salsa. I will be back here again!

This was our first visit and we were very pleased. Our server was pretty nice. For our meal we got the mixed botana for two and my daughter got chicken nuggets. The chips and salsa were very fresh and the chips still hot. When the botana came it looked so delicious. The meat was nice and juicy not dry at all. The rice and beans were hot and tasted great. The guacamole was so good!! Looks just like the picture. If I am ever back in this area I will be returning.

Fresh homemade flour tortillas, very fresh and calming atmosphere and the owner on sight, and a very beautiful ❤️ and polite waitress , customer service is quick and the food is very excellent! I’ve been looking for the best syncronizada in the RGV and it’s crazy to me to find it in a very small and hard to spot restaurant in the middle of a Little Caesars and Cricket store. Never have I ever thought I would find a place like this, many customers are so regulars that the owners and the waitresses know their names by sight. It’s very affordable and there is refills on drinks, I had about 5 diet Cokes the flour tortillas are not store bought! You can easily tell when flour tortillas are store bought but not this place the fajitas are all meat no fat on them, no rubber fajitas and the avocado is so fresh and not all hard and unripe like most restaurants. I declare this Carmelita’s restaurant as my new favorite place to eat! A quick shout out to the best waitress I’ve ever met with the most excellent customer service , she attended us and made sure we had everything we ever wanted in a timely fashion! Thank you Amanda! We love you! Hope to see you again! ❤️ Please everyone visit and have a good breakfast, lunch here!

Had a potato/egg plate and 2 flour tortillas, had beans that were soupy and very watery. Coffee was good, service was ok, server was not the best. Paid 10.15 for the breakfast…had potato/egg with good beans, tortillas and much better service at Los Compadres in Edinburg for $7.08.
