Great fresh food! I got the special blueberry lemon French toast and it was delicious. I would have wanted more blueberries on it, but I’ll ask for extra next time. The omelette tasted great, and potatoes were very well seasoned. I also want to mention how the fruit was fresh and not frozen. Overall great tasting food. Although I will say I hate the red, they need to paint the wall white.

Waited one hour and twenty minutes for our food. There was no communication, apology, or explanation for the wait. In that time, it took 20 minutes for them to even take our drink order and our drinks were never even refilled the entire time we were there. When our food finally came out, it was average at best. The breakfast food was the better food and the lunch food was extremely disappointing. I would avoid the bland, small fajita bowl (see pictures). Only giving two stars because the breakfast food was alright.

I wanted to like it but… the omelette was bland, No seasoning. the peppers were undercooked and hard. My toast was placed inside of the carton with my omelette and potatoes, so I had soggy wet bread. Potatoes weren’t bad, wish they were cut smaller though. Seems like everything was rushed.

I think this is a great Hometown restaurant. I spoke with the owner and she’s great, made me feel right at home. I loved the lightly scrambled eggs w/ sausage gravy, the gravy was perfect and loaded with great chunks of Italian sausage, bursting with flavor. The Home fries were good, light spiced crispy enough. The wheat toast was thick and toasted/buttered nicely. The watermelon slice was a nice garnish and yummy to finish things off. Now on to the Homemade corned beef hash…., it was 50/50 corned beef to potatoes, it seemed to be the only item not seasoned well enough, although, it still, also, gets 5 stars, the Chalula hot sauce saved it and the 50/50 ingredients were better than most homemade corned beef hash I’ve had, and it was pure corned beef, not processed. I recommend big, I can’t wait to go back for more eggs and sausage gravy and to try the pancakes, I’ll want to try the the homemade corned beef hash again.

I can’t believe I’ve never been here, the food is delicious! I usually only give 4 stars and save 5’s for those very special places! This place definitely deserves 5. Food was excellent! Service was excellent! Try the corned beef hash, OMG it was delicious! This is definitely on my radar and will be back and recommending to others!

I hesitated to leave a review, but my experience just felt frustrating so thought I should share. When my husband and I entered the restaurant, it was around 9 a.m. on a Saturday. I would say the restaurant was one-third to one-half full. The host took us to a table in the middle of the dining room floor. I inquired whether a booth was available. Not for the space, but because I preferred to set away from the middle of the action so to speak, and the booths were all arranged along the walls. I was told they were saving the booths for larger parties in case it got busier. I accepted that and we set down, but as I looked around I saw a single lady sitting at a booth as well as another party of two. We were the only people sitting in the middle of the floor. Strange, but I endeavored to let it go. When it came time to order, I tried to explain that my husband wanted his eggs “omelet style.” Essentially, flat in the pan, like an omelet, but with no toppings. No different than scrambling an egg, just less work because all you have to do is crack, mix, and flip once or twice. We were told it would cost more to have this done. That was it for me. I have actually never left a restaurant before, but I felt so frustrated by the experience that I politely advised we would be going somewhere else. We didn’t try the food, and we won’t be back to do so. I’ve heard it’s fairly good, but there are plenty of good restaurants that know the meaning of customer service. Also – a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Next time it might be wise to service the customers that are present instead of focusing on the ones that might show up later.

Rude phone person for take out. Wasn’t even busy in there when I walked in like she was in such a rush. I asked if my burger could be cooked medium well or if they only offered it one way… she’s said yeah we can do that and like hung up on me. Wouldn’t give me the time of day…. Dried out hockey pucks.

We went on Father’s Day & expected a wait & we did but the food is well worth it here. You won’t leave here hungry! Their prices are well within budget too. For a family of 5, our bill was $59. Can’t beat that anywhere! Cannot wait to go back again.
