I just love this place and people that work here! Such a genuine, welcoming and professional staff! The food and the vibe are phenomenal Always!! Food is always tasty, flavorful, with high quality ingredients and excellent presentation. The cocktails are crafty, simply the best in Hollywood downtown. I recommend this place for a night out, date or even a family dinner or big party celebration.

We recently hosted my mom’s 70th birthday dinner on the back patio at Carmela. The manager Frank and his team’s attention to detail and dedication to ensuring that everything went smoothly truly made the evening unforgettable. Frank’s expertise and professionalism made the event effortless and stress-free. The was DELICIOUS, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. We look forward to returning to Carmela’s in the near future. I highly recommend this place for date night or small parties.

Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. We walked in early on Saturday evening; they were fully committed, so we sat at the bar. This restaurant is small, so if they can’t accommodate you at a table, you’ll receive the same excellent service at the bar: The bartenders are the best.Drinks:5 ⭐️ Burrata -5 stars, Casarecce- 10 out 5. I still dream about it. Linguini-4.5 out of 5. FYI the pasta is made in-house, and you can taste the difference. Dessert-I forgot what I had, but it was incredible. Everything I had was excellent. That’s rare. I will come back!

I hosted a dinner of about 25 people and the staff was incredible from start to finish through the process of booking, setting up, serving, and the price point! When i called to book the space, the gentleman that helped me was extremely helpful and friendly. He really walked me through everything from how the tables will be set up to menu selection and pricing. He spared no detail! We had a few changes along the way and added children to the mix and they were extremely accommodating, pleasant, and easy to work with. All the menu items i picked came out exactly as planned. The food not only looked beautiful but everything was INCREDIBLE!! From appetizers, to proteins, to pasta everything was to die for. All of my guests were thrilled and mentioned many times how good the food was. The cocktails too!!! Everything PERFECTION! The staff was so helpful and attentive. Filling waters and offering refills on drinks immediately. Bringing the food out hot and quick. I will be coming back anytime I’m in the area. Love this place!

Absolutely delightful! It was a full experience, from beginning to end. A true hidden gem in Hollywood. The cocktail program here is one of a kind. All home made syrups and tinctures. Something new to pair with every meal. The wine selection, also made me come back for a second time. They have some top Italian wines for the price you can’t beat. The food.. oh the food! The specials were to die for. Something new every time. A definite must stop in Hollywood.
