What a nice, casual, but upscale restaurant! We had a delightful lunch visit. Food was very good! I took off one star for service because the waiter brought out the wrong sandwich and, despite the fact my lunch guest heard otherwise, refused to acknowledge the mistake. I ate the sandwich that was delivered, however, and it was tasty. The “better than sex” dessert we finished our meal off with was truly decadent! I plan to return as the situation allows.

This was our first time here, but we will be back. I brought my partner for his birthday. The decorations were really cute and romantic. Service was great. Food was super yummy. Their birthday dessert is an entire Carmel cheesecake. For sure get the bruschetta. They put pesto on theirs and it’s so yummy. They also had some of the most flavorful risotto I’ve ever had.

Our first time and it was a delightful experience. Since the Parthenon closed we have been searching for a Lincoln restaurant to deliver on taste and quality. Carmela’s delivers on both. I had the stuffed salmon special and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The other dish we had was the poblano salmon and that was cooked perfectly as well.

Carmela’s Bistro has become one of our new favorite spots when we want a night of fine dining. The interior was decorated so lovely, even with some nice Christmas decorations added. The food was all cooked very well, we ended up getting the bread service as an appetizer, which I would recommend for anyone. My only complaint for that is that I wish we would have gotten more bread served to us. We ordered dessert, which was a cake served in a wide wine glass which was a fun way for us to share with each other. We can’t wait to return here!

My husband and I both had steaks cooked perfectly to order. The flavors are nowhere near average. The sides with our dishes were wonderfully paired. We had cocktails instead of wine but their wine list was amazing.
