During my recent visit to the restaurant, I had a mixed experience that left me with conflicting impressions. While the milkshakes and beef burgers were excellent, I was disappointed with the quality of their chicken offerings.

When i ordered a meal they asked me “do you want medium or large?” I responded with medium thinking that was what would cost $13.xx as advertised on the menu board. However, when I got to the window I was told that it would be $15.20. I asked him why it cost more and he said that the $13.xx was for a small. I then told him I didn’t realize there was a small because of the way he asked me the question. He proceeded to inform me that this was a relatively new policy from the franchise owner, because they are not supposed to be selling smalls unless somebody asks for it. When I told him that this is deceptive, he proceeded to give me the phone number to the franchise office, because as employees they have already expressed their concern with him and he’s not listening. I called that office and a lady answered claiming that they are not intending to be deceptive, and the only thing we need to do is say no to the question. However, if you’re not trying to be deceptive, what is the problem in asking the question as small medium or large? OR would you like to change that to a medium or large? This is quite literally what every other fast food place does. I don’t know who this lady is but she made it clear that the local office and franchise owner do not care about this issue and if you as a customer are not paying attention, you will continue to be upcharged without your consent. This town is too small for shady business practices, and I hope this owner takes a closer look at how he manages his company and treats his employees.

We got cravings for ice cream the other night… Well to say the least, you just can’t beat their prices here for ice cream! $2 for a double scoop in a cup, and they filled the cup to the top; no complaints here. Plus, there is real strawberry chunks in the ice cream! Two thumbs up as far as I am concerned:)

I have 54 years experience in the food industry and a few days ago I came out of retirement to expand my missionary work to use this money to help more in the Philippines and regardless my amount of experience expected to be sat down and watch videos and take the Safe Serve test but instead all this was disregarded and I was strong on the line and observe the entire crew had no proper training no simple understanding of three sink method of washing dishes it was not even prepared and when I asked about the use pH strips for your balance nobody understood and the sanitized Waters was so cloudy and dirty and not changed all day yes till used to wipe where your sandwiches are made this is only the beginning and this is why I refuse to go back to work until the owner makes correction but instead they’re choosing to terminate me when I made my conscience clear and offered to make correction but instead in the month of May 2023 I am being terminated for standing up for your right to be served in a and in a safe environment it is time to organize

Where to start, the attendant was on cloud 9 when he took my order, which the only thing he got right was the onion rings, the soda came out warm which melted the ice, the trash bin near the soda machine was over flowing. They had the drive thru on loud speaker, I think the health inspector would have a field day with this place

Always worth the wait we got milkshakes the other night they were delicious and pick up a meal and split it between me and my honey everything was good one time I will say we ordered small fries and they were not hot or fresh but it’s not a dealbreaker the service is great. They are friendly and patient

The $16 Angus burger we ordered was not in the takeout bag. They gave us a month to come and get a replacement since we could not come back immediately. When we went to pickup the replacement today, the burger we ordered was not the one they placed in the box. At first I thought they were incompetent now I see that they are fraudulent. Highly advise that others avoid this Carl’s Jr. branch as we will do in the future. Very, very disappointing.
