We drove to this Carls Jr drive-thru today to use the “offer” we recieved via email from Carl’s Jr: 2/$6 Panko Fish Sandwichs. We were informed at the window that as of yesterday, they no longer sell it. We were offered a 2/$5 double cheeseburger and learned (after purchase) it was 2 single dry-patty cheeseburgers with overpowering hard buns. Must say they were not at all flavorful or anything soft or juicy. The lady at the window was nice, but I did not understand that this was two small cheeseburgers and not 2 double cheeseburgers. Their “cheeseburgers” (at least that day) were not up to par with their larger burgers.

When they give you the food it’s always lukewarm like it’s been sitting there awhile it fries and the sandwiches are cold before you finish eating them very disappointed. I’ve eaten there three times and each time the same and no personality at the counter.

Had a grilled chicken sandwich but the chicken was basically tough rubber.. never had anything like it before.. threw out the whole sandwich. Zero stars. Going to blame myself for ordering anything not deep-fried… Carls Jr used to have decent quality fast food 15-20yrs ago… Now it’s the bottom.

I’ve always had fine experiences here. They do sometimes get my order messed up but that happens everywhere. The food is pretty good too. And with their $5 boxes you get a whole meal for a good price. Their milkshakes are also one of my favorite things to get.
