This Carl’s Jr. holds a lot of memories for me. It’s a challenge to pin down one good location versus another. Carl’s Jr. just does its job so long as you don’t get sick after eating at it. There’s quite a few Taco Bell‘s I’ve avoided like the plague because I practically acquired the plague from them. This is not a gold standard location. It’s all right. The ones that tend to be on the outskirts of the desert and often forgotten need to elevate their game a little bit so those are the ones you want to seek out or those at a busy place which is pleasant But not so busy that it looks like they have an updated anything since the 1980s. This one feels like it should still have wobbly plastic chairs and grinning overzealous stars everywhere. The bathrooms are always awful at any of these locations and I highly recommend finding somewhere else.

Food poisoning. Got nuggets, both the bbq and mustard sauces tasted like soap. Maybe that’s normal, never been to Carl’s before, never going back. One hour later I emptied my bowels involuntarily. Change the oil in the fryolator much? Obviously a very dirty kitchen at least or, at worst, terrible employees intentionally messing with the food. Again, remember my comment on the sauce…

Took my card and disappeared for 7+ min, then when they brought my food, I had to ask for my card back and my drinks. A CC should never be taken and not returned right away.

I usually go to the location on Sierra HWY but I was close to this location so I chose to stop here my fries were fresh great service the only thing I was disappointed with is my burger the bun was burnt and didn’t taste fresh and for paying close to 20 you expect everything to be fresh and not burnt before you serve it. Needless to say I would rather drive longer to the other location I never had this experience.
