First time back since it closed. Started off with a Chilton for a drink , so much lemon I couldn’t taste the vodka, and there was no ice.

We are frequent travelers to Big Spring. We stop over on our way between South Texas and Colorado. We usually eat at our hotel restaurant, but wanted Mexican. We were not disappointed. Some reviews said the waitstaff was rude, so I was a little bit worried. We were greeted at the door with kindness and immediately felt welcome. Our waitress, chip server, and other staff were all very helpful and friendly!! Will definitely be back. The food was amazing to boot. One of my faves from now on.

Decided to eat here with family on our trip back to big spring. Have eaten here before and expected the same food as before.

I was disappointed with the chili rellanoes. Very mild. Still good but not spicy. Next time, I will try the tacos. Staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient. One good change – the cashier is your waitress. So, there are no lines as you leave. And everything is so improved since Mark has reopened the restaurant.

I used to eat out here fairly often, but the restaurant changed owners and the quality went down. The owner who owned it a few years ago is back and the food and service is back to being spectacular. Will definitely be a returning customer.

The people and new owners are absolutely rude and my waiter. We waited almost two hours before even receiving food. Then we get our food everything’s is completely wrong and we all order adult meals and each meal was the size of a kids meal. Then we were ordering drinks and it takes like 10 minutes to even get a single alcoholic beverage. Than when we say when stuff was wrong I go to walk out and they were all running there mouths about how it was ridiculous especially our waiter we had.

Carlos was the only Mexican restaurant open on Monday, and we were staying in Big Spring Texas overnight (keep going). It was a quaint establishment, tiny bar where you can overhear the bartender talking to customers. We ordered a taco salad. Like a taco time salad but in a nice porcelain bowl. My margarita was just so so. I can get a margarita in a can with about as much alcohol and taste. The guacamole seemed bland and maybe store bought? Anyway, it was an experience in this dusty wind blown run down town.

I had the steak tips in a gravy, the “satelo special” I believe. I really enjoyed the food, the unsweet tea was fresh and not too weak, and service was spot on.. Im here visiting from Missouri, and up there the queso is white,, here it’s much thicker and yellow.. different, but good.. really friendly people here! Stop in and give them a try!
