This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in my life. I’m only giving one star because I can’t give zero. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce. Their fountain drinks tasted like dirty lake water. The food was not fresh at all. The waiter was horrible, Not friendly at all. Everyone with us that ate there got sick and has been sick for three days so far. The food was over priced. I have never been so disgusted at a restaurant before. I recommend you start eating your left hand before going to this restaurant.

Great service. Only downside was the chicken was under cooked. Waiter had to take it back twice to bring it up to standards. Chips were good. Salsa was very bland and a heavy tomato presence. Waiter was awesome. Cheese Enchiladas were good. Rice and beans tasty as well. Definitely worth a try.

I have been there several times and they do not disappoint. Whether you are there for a quick lunch like today or meeting friends for the delicious margaritas, this place is worth a stop. Try the queso… Add chorizo if you are a meat eater for an extra fun kick to your taste buds. Very nice staff.

I don’t often leave reviews but this is much needed. I have chosen Carlos Montez to be my usual Tuesday lunch for the last 7 years and its disappointing in the direction you have taken with your prices. No queso is worth $10 for 8oz and when questioned why it’s so high I was told “to allow for cheap $1 tacos.” That doesn’t make sense.

I have lived in the area for eight years now and have eaten here six times. The only reason I’ve even gone back is because my child likes the games they have or in some cases they are the only place open when I want to eat out. I order something different every time and EVERY TIME the food is horrible. It’s either bland or tastes bad. The chips, the margaritas and the service is good, but I’m not going to order a meal from here ever again.

The waitress was sweet and Asst Mgr great. Everything else was a complete turnoff. Restaurant was so dirty I lost my appetite. The chips and salsa were good but my entree had no flavor after being completely smothered in cheese. Rice seemed old and overcooked. Overpriced disappointment.
