A lovely, casual spot that is being slept on! The grilled chicken was juicy, the sizzling lechon was the perfect balance of meat/fat, and the lumpia are crispy and meaty. The pork bun made an excellent breakfast the next day before we left. Service was quick and kind. Don’t forget to always opt for garlic rice!

First visit. Cute Fiipino restaurant. Good menu. Beer and Wine served. Great lunch specials for $13 (at this writing July 2023). I wish I had ordered that but I was craving halo-halo and pancit canton to celebrate my birthday. Noodles for long life. Yeah!

I grew up eating my mom’s Filipino food, but I turned vegetarian after I married my vegetarian husband. This is the first time in my 7 years of being vegetarian, where I had Filipino food that was not only vegetarian, but tasted so good that it brought me back to eating in the Philippines as a little girl. On top of that, the owners were so nice and friendly. This is my new favorite place. I haven’t felt this happy after a meal in quite awhile.

Being a vegetarian, it had been hard to find anything other than Pancit and Filipino fruit dessert anywhere in San Diego or even LA, for that matter. But this place is just something else. My family and I were just mind blown! After looking up several Filipino places in Mira Mesa and Chula Vista and being disappointed for them not having any vegetarianoptions, my wife and I are glad we finally found this one. They have several vegetarian and vegan options, and the owners are amazing and make you comfortable and suggest their best items based on your liking. We tried their pancit, tofu sisig and a few desserts. Everything was really delicious.

It is located in Encinitas close to the beach. There is plenty of street parking. Food is delicious. Whatever you order here, you would enjoy. Order the family you get to try several dishes with an appetizer included. We ordered kare-kare, garlic fried rice, lumpia, and halo-halo for dessert.

Service was awesome, and food was pretty authentic! The food is not overly salted (soy sauced). Enjoyed the lumpia, garlic fried rice, pork sisig, grilled pork.

Stopped by for dinner and we were sort of disappointed. The Lechon kawali was great. No complaints there. We also ordered the veggie lumpia. In the photo you can see some liquid on the plate. That’s cooking oil. It was so oily and mushy. Honestly we were expecting more from the ratings.
