I can’t begin to say how great Caribesa is! I reserved a table for a small wedding reception. When we arrived they had given us a private area. The entire staff is friendly and kind. Our server was a rockstar and did the most amazing job. The chef is so talented and made the most exquisite food, beautifully presented. I could go on and on about the restaurant and how great it is. If you haven’t been you must go you won’t regret it.

The food here was absolutely AMAZING! I’ve had the big, bone in rib-eye at two other fancy restaurants and they were both subpar, lacking savory seasoning all the way through. This was NOT the case here. It was so delicious! My fiancé had the wagyu steak, which was also awesome. Everyone else loved their entrees too! BUT, I’ve deducted one star due to service. When getting Sri k orders she skipped me, then our food came out before our drinks or bread were ever given, then she disappeared not refilling drinks as needed and seemed bothered by us. If not for her, it would’ve been the perfect experience and totally worth the high dollar bill.

I would give them 6 stars if I could!! Everything was absolutely delicious!! We went up to The Torpedo Lounge before dinner & the espresso martini was incredible. My steak was cooked to perfection & the service was prompt. I would highly recommend adding this to your list of “must try” restaurants on Emerald Isle

This one is a tougher one to review- the service was fantastic. Our hostess was very good, very engaging. The atmosphere was cool, but we were seated on the bar side instead of the restaurant side; there was so music or ambiance really to speak of.

So far, this is my favorite place to eat at on Emerald Isle. I’ve never had a bad meal here with the exception of a well done Filet mignon that they immediately corrected. The Crab cakes were reccomended from a friend who was from Maryland. Obviously, if they make that kind of recommendation you gotta listen. Yes it is expensive but its totally worth it! The cocktails are well crafted and tasty. I would definitely recommend coming here for a date or other special occasion!

Nothing in the area can even compare to what these guys are doing here. I’m no stranger to kitchens and can tell you that the only element required to push that caliber of food out is effort. This effort should very well be rewarded with a corresponding price tag. Finally, a spot in a 30 mile radius that can be fancy enough for a proper date or anniversary, or simply a guilty pleasure dinner.
