The Anointed One
The Caribbean Zone is very respectful and welcoming towards all of their customers. They serve a wide variety of specials like conch, salmon, Oxtail, Pumpkin soup (Soup Joumou), Cake and more!!! They also have several ways to order including catering, delivery ( Doordash, Grubhub, Postmates and Uber Eats) and Phone orders! The food is delicious and everything is reasonably priced (Cheap).

The food and service by the manager was disgusting. I was joined by some foreigners and an out of towner from Texas and I must say that I was so embarrassed. The bathroom was disgusting. The meat was spoiled and when we addressed the issue the owner was more angry than we. The disrespect for their paying customers is evident.

Our family visited with a couple of friends. We tried many items on the menu (fried pork, curry chicken, shrimp, legume). All were delicious, and the servings were large. My wife and I both thought their fried plantains (basically tostones, although I realize that’s probably not the correct local name) were the best we’ve ever had. Plus, the owner was also extremely nice and welcoming. Wish I had pictures, but I forgot to take any. The place is small and simple but worth a visit.

The cooks at Caribbean Zone are generous, talented and kind. I put in a catering order for 20 people, and everyone loved their beans & rice, griot, legume, and plantains. I would definitely come in again to sit down with friends or family.

I’ve had a few different Haitian spots every time I come up to Miami and I’d have to say this is the best one so far. The diri sauce pwa with the griot was so flavorful, it tasted like my mother made it. The atmosphere feels like home. Y’all need to check them out whenever you’re in Miami!
