I came in to try the doubles and aloo pie, the lady working the counter was helpful in answering all my questions and I had a lot because I am not too familiar with this type of food. The place is open, clean and has lively music. The food was delicious I came back again and tried more new food and drinks. My only suggestion would be to have a paper menu that explains each dish/drink so someone unfamiliar doesn’t have to ask about each item as it can be embarrassing to ask so many questions. I hope to try the smoothie and dessert side next time. If you’re in the area give it a try!

Not good customer service at all, the doubles sticking to the paper, Cassava pone flakey and I tried it the next day, slime coming out, pine tart wrap in plastic and thick like bake, the baigan choka where the tomatoes? And last the pholourie with lots of oil. It’s a disappointment when you spend your hard earn money & you cannot enjoy it. Food not ready.

The service and the food is absolutely disgusting! Oily, flavorless and expensive. Do not waste your time or your money! Tables outside were cleaner than the ones inside, music so loud you can’t order without yelling. They hide their food behind posters, should have known better! Disgusted beyond belief! I repeat do not waste your time or money! I only came here because I didn’t realize that they had changed ownership!

This restaurant is top tier when I went the staff was so amazing to me and made me feel welcomed. The store looked clean and the food was Amazing!!!!!! Definitely gonna be my spot to go too at least three times a week. Been looking for a spot like this in Orlando since moving from New York to Florida.

I had the curry goat with a banana solo snd it was delicious, very flavorful, I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. Everyone was polite and the atmosphere was good with plenty of natural lighting and seating. I was very satisfied with the service

I was asked to pick up an order for someone. Waited in line for about 25 minutes to then have a man child come out into the restaurant and vocalize loudly that I was 1.5 hours late for the order and that they are busy and sold it since no one came at the agreed time. In addition, continue to say “and the order is not even paid for yet”. You do not berate a customer in front of a restaurant full of customers because they were late picking up an order. It’s your business, you have a right to sell an order if someone is late, however, there is a professional way to address that. Just remember, customer satisfaction is paramount to a business success. You should have a policy that all pre orders require a deposit or full payment. Not stand there and tell everyone that your order was “not even paid for yet” and continue to berate them. Your classless attitude was very distasteful.

Got there on Saturday to use a coupon sent to me on Tuesday, it was expired 4 days later they said it’s not valid.. $18.00 for a bowl of rice and shrimp after waiting 20 plus mins in line you should be paying me gas and time. What is with blocking the food with pictures we need to see what we are buying.. get it together and run like an assembly line disbursing food.. it’s not rocket science how do you let food (an object) beat you with timing?

I’ve been going there since Annie’s Roti Shop, then Vindhi and now Caribbean Shack. But, the best food I’ve had was when Vindhi owned this restaurant, the food was very tasty especially the Doubles best ever. Under the current management, their curry needs to be more like curry. Curry is tasteless and looks more like Stew, no color of at all. I definitely know curry when is see curry, I’ve been eating good curry from Trinidad to the US. Bara for the Doubles need to be thinner and they don’t have enough sauces to add to them. Vindhi had a wealth of delicious sauces to put on. I’m not complaining about the prices because I get the Inflation issue. But, the food is very, very bland. I will say, the Pharata was good though, I give that a B+. Oh and customer service, it was ok but, there was a young African female ( not sure what her name is) there who was not very friendly at all. I elaborated because, I needed to explain what was my issues so theses can be looked into. I will return though and give them a chance to improve.
