If you’re looking for good Jamaican food in Petersburg you might want to try this first! I mean where do I start.. This was some of the best jerk chicken I’ve had. The chicken was smoked to perfection. The sauce was flavorful with a spicy kick, but not too hot. And that coco bread was soo delicious.

I eat here alot! Each experience different. I always get jerk chicken. When it’s fresh it’s supherb, sometimes I think I may get a left over plate. Well I bought a piece of carrot cake got thru most of it and realized the cake was moldy. It had mold fuzz all over it. So that’s my last time. My suspicions were confirmed. They serve old food.

The place is a cute family friendly restaurant. We ordered a small ox tails and a small curry chicken with red beans and rice, warm coco bread and cabbage. The small was enough to eat off twice. Everything was seasoned properly and the meats were very, very tender. The entire meal was delicious.

My husband and I were only in the area for 1 night. So many food choices and we chose here. Pulling up to the place had me doubt my decision for a second. Glad I stuck with it. Food was completely amazing and delicious!

I rated a 4 until my next visit. I got the Oxtail meal and it was good. You definitely get your money’s worth. I will be going back to try the jerk chicken. My bill was $50+ because I purchased food for my friends and add ons.
