Labeling Warsaw’s Cardoso 520 a Mexican restaurant might be selling it short. While Mexican dishes are part of the menu, you’ll find much more varied fare than at other typical Mexican restaurants. With house specialties consisting of stir fry, salmon, steak and paninis along with pastas and burgers that would give the best burger joints a run for their money, you might just end up ordering something different from your original intentions.

Best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Food was amazing, from the salsa to the appetizers all the way to the adult beverages. They were fast after we ordered our food and hardly any wait. Definitely will be going back and would recommend to any friends and/or family!!!

I love the food at Cardoso. They have a whole variety for Mexican and American dishes. Their food is authentic and delicious. Their flavored water is made with real fruit. Their micheladas are good. Breakfast is delicious but so is everything else. Ive always found Cardosos to be a hidden gem. Even in their new location. The staff are friendly and attentative.

When my party and I walked it we were ignored by the wait staff, standing there looking dumb, we waiting and looked to see if anyone will seat us or we seat ourselves. We found the hostess sitting in a chair is the other room behind a wall not even paying attention to the door. Then she sits us in a cramped hole by the door. Out waiter was nice but never once checked on us. Our food was another story. I got the chilaquiles with chicken. The chicken was undercooked. The other person in my party got the meal with 2 eggs, bacon and french toast. The eggs were greasy, the bacon was very small like they cut in half so you only get 1 strip. $9 for 2 greasy eggs and 1 strip of bacon cut in half. Couldn’t even try the french toast, they were too upset.
