The customer service at Capt’n Pete’s in Maiden was outstanding and we will definitely be back! We didn’t realize that they closed at 8, and when we got there at 7:30 they welcomed us on it. We had salt&pepper catfish filet, deviled crab, and Alaskan White. Everything was FRESH, HOT, and DELICIOUS. The hushpuppies were also so good! Thank you Capt’n Pete’s for a great and friendly experience.

Always a good place to eat. Best seafood around. It’s better than any seafood restaurant at the beach, including Calabash, NC. A+++ for the team at Captain Pete’s Maiden.

Didn’t really want to eat here, thinking it would be only fried foods. Got there and found some nice sandwiches. Got a Philly Cheese Steak and it was awesome. Not only was the meat great, but the peppers and onions were cooked perfectly as well. The waitress also kept my glass filled consistently.

No good at all, I find the flounder not good at all, the last 2 orders were not fit to eat as far as seafood goes, we tried the eat in in Lincolnton and it was worse than Maiden, they are about 25% of what Foxes Fish Camp used to be , Pete is tied with Jones which has been on a decline for over 20 years . Good luck on fresh fish around here. OPINIONS MATTER

Really not the same as it was just a couple of years ago, the fish is smaller (cut) and more greasy. I don’t really know how there can be 2 of these restaurants within 10 miles of one another and they not be consistent in flavor and quality of food. The Lincolnton one is much better.
