Beyond. Over, above & beyond. Best lobster roll at a great price & I had the $17.00 lobster bisque last time I was there & its worth every penny. It’s a quart of soup w/a lot of lobster in it.

A cute little local restaurant that serves up great seafood. You order at the counter and then they bring your meal to the table you choose to sit at.

Excellent! We went for lunch we had the fish sandwich and fish tacos (the tacos came with rice and beans but I asked for french fries to replace the rice, they gave me fresh steamed broccoli and the hot fresh fries, exactly what I wanted!) and lobster bisque delicious! Everything came out hot and fresh. The service was great! One small detail the tables and napkin dispensers needed a good cleaning. We will return again.

We were passig through town and found this humble little restaurant with the most AMAZING clam chowder soup! The Lobster bisque was great too! We also loved the onion rings! They were bite sized and super delicious!!

The service at this locally run seafood shack was really nice. The people that took my order were friendly. I really had hoped the food was better. Don’t get me wrong everything was hot, fresh, and crispy everything you want from a seafood fish shop, but, everything lacked flavor. A little salt to the food after it comes out of the oil goes a long way. But, none of the items we ordered the fish, scallops, clams, or shrimp had any flavor.

Delightfully pleased. Very casual environment with super friendly staff and patrons as well. Coming from Texas, Southern hospitality is big and this place did not disappoint. The food was really, really good and fairly priced based on the portion, quality and taste. I had a warm overstuffed lobster roll with extra crispy fried and coleslaw (Yum!) – my husband has the seafood platter which was a LOT of food and very delicious. Truly one of Milford’s gems!

Very dirty, sticky floors and filthy freezer were really disturbing. I literally could have scraped the dirt from the floor. The staff was lovely. We ordered based on prior reviews and in a desire not to offend. I was too skeeved out to eat the food when I got home but my husband pressed on. He was in the bathroom within minutes.

In CT this is absolutely one of the best Seafood places. The cost for the amount of food you get is better than most anywhere and the Clams and Shrimp aren’t mini frozen bs. You actually get your money’s worth and probably a bit more. They’re good so they will be busy during peak times so be prepared for a wait occasionly.

I love Captain’s Catch. New England is known for its seafood but in the New Haven area there are only two places that are worth going to in Captain’s Catch is one of them. It is a modest restaurant, your order at the counter and there side room with tables to eat at. It is mostly fried seafood and entirely delicious. Their lobster bisque is the best I’ve ever had. Their fried fish sandwich is not only delicious but it is a food value, with a huge piece of fish on a fresh hard roll. I like their lobster rolls, with melted butter of course, as well as any place in the area. They have lunch specials and different size meals so you have flexibility in ordering. The portions are enormous. If you’re looking for New England fried seafood and lobster rolls, this is the place to come.
