New Restaurant in Atlantic Beach. The owner’s daughter which was the Hostess displayed great customer service/engaged in conversation, even gave us a tour of buffet. My husband had the all you can eat crablegs which were great. The Mahi with special sauce and rice was delicous! Brought fresh fish and seafood cakes to the table. Chef/owner came out later to greet us…Owner was from our hometown, Fayetteville. Awesome

When the staff greets you as you come in the door, you feel welcomed and invited. You sit down just like you would at any other restaurant. But when you look at the menu it’s not typical. There’s a mix of down home comfort food all the way up to high quality seafood. All you can eat crab legs is also a huge plus for this place. Being one of extremely few to offer it in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone around the Morehead/Atlantic beach area.

Fantastic! It doesn’t look like a lot, but it definitely is. Unlimited hush puppies, crab legs, flounder, and sea cakes. The food was more then enough definitely recommend. Our service was awesome we felt pampered here! My margarita was made perfectly. Everything was great! Oh and the orange cake is the only dessert but it’s really good!!

Great service & good crab legs, besides that that it was a total disappointment for $40 per person. ‘GIGANTIC’ array is false, over half the items advertised are not on the buffet. A fourth of the buffet is covered by paper thin slices of orange cake – the only dessert offered. The salad bar had many empty spots and repeated items. Most of the items came from a can. No fresh fruit. The advertised ‘never ending’ carving station did not exist. Management did go above and beyond to make our experience positive in the end. Maybe try again on a weekend night.

This place has the best steamed shrimp I have ever had. The childrens fried shrimp were lightly hand battered, the best any where. The jalapeno bacon & brisket were melt in your mouth perfect. Only downside was at lunch one gentleman ran the entire bar and restaurant. I believe he was the cook too!

Absolutely the Best food on the Island. We had the dinner buffet with all you can eat crab legs. This was not your ordinary buffet. It include so many favorites e.g. prime rib, mahi, lots of shrimp and of course the crab legs. Fresh cooked fried shrimp, flounder and fish cakes were brought to the table.I think this may become our favorite place because there was so much very well prepared food variety.

After a week of waiting, we finally got to eat at Captain Q’s for lunch. Not only was the unlimited fried shrimp, flounder, and crab cakes extremely mushy and greasy, but they brought out only one basket of food at a time. Two of my group of 6 got stomach aches from said grease. The buffet had two small rows of food, one of which was halfway empty (with only one other person there besides our group). Mac and cheese had crunch to it (not the good crunch you get in slightly burnt cheese), salad bar was limited to low quality vegetables and terrible sauces. The ONLY good thing about Q’s was that our waitress was trying her hardest to make the experience enjoyable. She was kind and kept asking how it was and if we needed anything. To be honest, the only thing that could have made it worse would have been bugs crawling in the restaurant, and terrible service.
