This is a horrible awful restaurant. They sell spoiled rancid chicken that smells awful. After getting home noticed the awful smell coming off the chicken. PLEASE DO NOT eat here. Took the food back for a refund and they refused to give a refund. The health department needs to shut this place down. Management is absolutely terrible and refused address the situation. If you do not want to get sick I suggest not eating at this location. They need to be shut down.

I’m not gonna lie I was dissatisfied with this food. There is a reason why the Popeye’s next door is always busy …. the catfish was mushy and the breading was bland and they didn’t even give us a tartar sauce to give it an ounce of flavor…. the chicken was moist but let be honest…. once again…. bland….. and what chicken place does not have mashed potatoes? That’s a deal breaker to some people. The fries were soggy. It’s sad to say the Pepsi was the best part of the meal….. and when they say they give you bread with your combo, I was not expecting a literal slice of stale bread and no butter. I do not recommend this place. It was a waste of time and money

So at first they were ok like 5 years ago lol u could get fresh nice size pieces of chicken and fish. Fast forward to today if you order fish (perch for me) usually it’s a hit and miss depending on who’s working you’ll get dried fried hard little pieces. Today I ordered 10 whole wings with lemon pepper and I checked my order it had barely anything on it I asked for more lemon pepper and she responded by saying they train them on how much lemon pepper to put on the wings any more shakes and it’s 50 cents lol this is terrible I get y’all make extra that way but why not do that on online GrubHub or phone orders why do that to the customers that come in and wait for the food just to tell them no we have to charge u yea times have changed a little to much for me I guess I’ll be looking for a new spot that appreciates the small things.

I called my order in, and the young lady that answered was very polite and professional. I walk in and was greeted immediately even the two young men in the back that was doing the cooking spoke to me. I was so happy with the service that I also purchase two peach cobblers. The only thing negative I have to say, and I told the young lady (cashier) as well…I can’t leave a tip.

Stopped by and snagged a 10 piece dark. Wow was this some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in a bit. Asked for lemon pepper seasoning, they didn’t disappoint… Got some on top AND a side cup with more to add myself. Chicken was crispy and tender in all the right ways.

Worst experience!!! We ordered food , but before even getting food the host in counter had very rude behaviour also we requested them to lower loud music, which we barely could hear others talking near us .. but they refused it twice and instead they made it more louder . Awful experience!

I’m so done with this location. My fries are always cold. I have to always go back in and get some hot fries and that fact I always ask for my chicken to be fried hard and as long as I wait in line, my food should always be fresh and hot. I live out this way, but I will just go back to my favorite location on 9 mile and Coolidge in Oak Park. I have never had an issue like I do with this Sterling Heights location. They are straight .
