I’m very disappointed my chicken looked old like it had been sitting in the freezer for awhile before it was cooked. I called about the chicken I was told it was dark because the cooking oil needed to be changed out this chicken is old not discolored because of the oil

The food overall was fresh and pretty good but the foundation machine was out of syrup and looks like it hasn’t been cleared since the shop opened and I ordered cheese sticks that came with no sauce and my combo didn’t come with bread like specified. Way to expensive for them to be forgetting stuff. And tho the service wasn’t bad it wasn’t good or friendly either but I don’t really expect them to be friendly when they are sweating to death due to lack of air conditioning.

If unprofessional, trifling, and careless was an establishment it would be this place!! I ordered $70 worth of food that reflected the quality of a $15 meal. My 20 pc of wings were all burnt (over fried) macaroni was mushy and the Superman crunch cake I ordered was not in the bag, so I called to let management know and I was asked “ so what you want me to write your name down or something”!!! I sent my husband back to retrieve my $6 slice of Superman crunch cake only for them to tell them no she had strawberry! I would rather drive further to another Captain Jays to receive adequate quality and customer service than what I received here, so consider yourselves warned

The worst ran restaurant i’ve been too. The workers are very rude and lazy, there was a young black girl at the front with burgundy hair who has NO clue what she was doing. She was standing around and had the young man in the back running around trying to help. There was over 4 people waiting for their food and it was getting cold at the counter. Needs to management horribly. PLEASE go else where, I recommended Chester Chicken or Chic fil a which are close by.

This place is in dire need of new management! I have not been back since I seen mold on some peach cobbler in the showcase by the register. They currently have FIVE health code violations that have not been corrected, including not labeling things with dates, storing and serving food that has been left out for too long in the wrong temperatures and inappropriate sanitation practices. It is public information available on the health department website. Very sad considering the potential this restaurant could have had.

BEWARE!! They are SCAMMERS! We put in an order and paid ahead of time just to come back to pick up the chicken at the time that they gave us and the whole place is CLOSED! We called the next day to try to get our money back and the manager never got back to us! Just go to a different location, you’ll save time and money.

Chicken was really good and fried perfect, I mean actually perfect. Everything was fried perfect and tastes great, chicken was a tad bit too salty imo but that was the only issue this place is definitely pretty good. Must not have had the best cooks in the past or something from all these bad reviews

Today is April 17th 2023 it is 8:30 p.m. I walked in this establishment and walked right back out because the girl with the lace front wig was eating in the preparation area and looking at me like I was crazy for watching her eat! I will never eat there again not only that she didn’t even have on a hairnet, just standing there looking stupid eating her food like she’s at the actual table.

Most disgusting chicken. I experienced stomach pain after one bite. The chicken was super salty I’m guessing that was to disguise that it was spoiled. Unfortunately for myself I swallowed that first and last bite. Worst restaurant ever. And I frequent Waffle House.
