At our Little Rock, AR location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This was by far my greatest experience at the colonial glen location. I had to pull up which was fine because nothing worse than cold fish. Everything was pipin hot, service was great, waiting time was great. If I can get my food like that every time. Excellent job to the staff on 6/29 around 6:30pm. You guys should be proud of yourself for a job well done. Oreo pie delicious lemonade good just added more ice when I got home. I was very pleased with everything.

I absolutely love Captin D’s. The food I received this visit was horrible. Everything thing in my order was cold. The fries, fish, and shrimp didn’t even feel like they sat under a warmer. The girl that took my order was more concerned about the man inside the establishment that was selling perfume/cologne.

Great service. Food was good, but can sit heavy since so much is fried. Stars removed because food was on too small of a plate making it more difficult to eat without stuff falling off and because floors had grease feel and sitting areas were not clean (crumbs, etc).

Not good. Fish was stuck together. One piece was soggy from grease. I asked for Tater sauce was provided cocktail sacuse after I specifically asked the young lady she replied its in the bag. It’s is my fault for not double checking ny bag to make sure I had what I asked for. Only reason for two stars is speed of service. $27 wasted

Food was good and hot, but the staff is what impressed me the most. The lady taking orders is absolutely killing it. I dined in and while i was there for about an hour I watched her take basically 3 orders at a time for the whole time. She had 2 registers going for the walk in customers and one going for the drive through. She never missed a beat was polite and I didn’t see anyone come back with a problem with their orders

Janaya, the girl with box braids (one side blonde) is rude and very short (and delayed) with her responses. I asked her can I get large fries and she answers “I’m pretty sure the fries come in one size” then proceeded to ask for my payment without even specifying the size “it comes in”. She’s handed me my order and says “Have a nice day” while closing the window. All I heard was “Have a….”

The resturant is clean, but they didn’t have enough staff this weekend to work the dining area. They’ve gotten better with the taste of their steamed veggies ( the broccoli was cooked perfectly), but the fish was greasy. I’ll probably return during the week, but if the service/food is like this again I’ll have to move on to another fast-food fish resturant for quick meals.
