A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Went on a mini vacay to Shreveport…saw this Captain D’s and decided to stop. I’m so glad I did…the customer service was great and the food was fresh. I have no complaints about this place…oh, just one…they have Pepsi products…Ugh, I hate Pepsi…get some Coca-Cola in this city! Every where I’ve been pretty much has Pepsi here!! Oh yeah, the hush puppies were delish and they’re huge! The green beans were good but I wasnt impressed with the mac and cheese. I would definitely go again!!

Honestly, if I could rate this without putting any stars I would. First, I received batter fish when I ordered to have it cooked country. Then, when they bring out the correct order this is what I get. I love Captain D’s, but this is the worst experience I’ve had at one.

Management team is awesome. I placed an order on the app and when i got there they informed me that they were out of one of the special items i had ordered so he replaced it with extra shrimp and made it fresh. Very nice crew! Great food!

Got in to the store and was greeted immediately. Placed order for dine in and some take out. Order was cooked separately so the take out would not be cold. Dine in meal was brought to the table and all was good.

This store apparently hasn’t updated their menu board prices. When I got to the window, I was charged $4.89 for 10 jalapeno bites. I thought I was going to pay $3.89. The cashier made no offer to charge me the advertised price, and I chose not to argue about it but rather just content to take this picture and post this for others’ benefit.

took Way too long, drive thru person seemed to only want to fix himself drinks and the cook came out and he and the person KEPT hiding and drinking drinks .The food was way over seasoned.I will never go back there or recommend it!!!!
