A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. After a long day at the office I went to grab a meal from Fairview Cap D and it was very worth it. On a fish Friday everything was hot and fresh. The customer service was great as well. The girl was very friendly and polite. Almost felt like I was a chick fa lay with that service! Lol keep it up CapD. Thanks tummy happy.

I can’t really say much about the atmosphere because only the drive thru was open. The employees were friendly and even though we had a bit of a wait, I can’t blame the employees because they are short staffed. The food was hot and tasted great.

Showed up with no one in line, so I thought. I ordered and asked for battered shrimp. I even asked to make sure it was battered and not breaded. They handed me a tag to hang on my mirror and asked me to pull forward. Then I noticed 2 more cars in front of me with tags as well already waiting. While I was waiting 2 more cars pulled in. After waiting 15 min a lady came staggering out slowly with arms full of bags of food. They waited for all of the cars food to get done so they only had to make one trip. How lazy was that? Not thinking I pulled away with my shrimp. When I got back to the jobsite, I took my food out, which was cold from waiting, but also was the wrong food. They gave me breaded shrimp despite our conversation to make sure I got battered shrimp. This place is a joke.

Not flashy, but a very relaxed atmosphere. Employees were pleasant and helpful. I got the three piece fish with fries and steamed broccoli; the broccoli was soft as it should be, the fries were crunchy, and the fish was good.

Cashier was polite and prompt.. HOWEVER my fish was hard and greasy,lettuce was slimy , bun was burnt and mayo was melted. Fried oysters were decent. I’m assuming the food is fried fresh because you are automatically parked but I’m sure it’s to cut down on window time which is understandable.

We came in on a Friday during lent. We did a online order arrived to pick it up and waited an additional 55mins in the restaurant that was empty. No apology nothing then my fish was cold my macaroni was not in the bag. 70 dollar order and most was unedible. I knew I should have kept going. But lesson learned …….BUYER BEWARE…… ALSO NO TARTER SAUCE OR COCKTAIL SAUCE

Employees were nice but, not very efficient. I was asked 3x what I ordered. Had to wait in the handicapped spot for just a fish dinner. They brought the wrong meal out, good thing I checked. Waited and waited and waited. So I went inside and they had to make a new dinner because they gave mine to someone else. All together 30-45 minutes and probably wasted 2 gallons of gas. The food was good but, not worth the wait and confusion. 3 stars for the good food. Check your order before you leave.
