A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I stopped to try the new item on the menu. The experience at the speaker when teying to order was terrible. I had to repeat myself over 4 times. When the order was called back to me, I had hope it would be correct. Order was wrong, though I was charged for what I ordered. Received fries and slaw instead of Mac and Cheese. The portion was for the Cajun catfish was tiny for the cost.

The Captain D near me on Stateline Rd in Ms is close so I decided to visit the one on Getwell and Shelby Dr on Wednesday 7/12/23 Senior Day.I pulled to the speaker and start placing my order ” 2 Senior Meals”the employee stopped me in my tracks and said ” do you have child in the car and are you a senior and how many people are in the car” I answered “yes I am a senior and I am the only one in the car ” she said” then you can only have one meal” What ” when did you start this,one meal is for me and one for my husband I stop here on my way home from work,I need to go home and get him?” No one answered it was just silent I kept saying “hello” then another person came on and said ” what you want for sides ” I made the order. Got to the window another person said “what you order”I repeat the order again …I guess I said something wrong so they gave me a plate with All My Food mixed up together nothing in a cup just throwing in the plate.I order sides Mac& Cheese and Broccoli, no Broccoli just Mac& Cheese twice.If they treat a SENIOR like that for no reason we were afraid to eat the food maybe they did something to the food.I know the company Captain D don’t do business like this,they need to be aware that they have Employees like this working for them.They really made the evening a disaster for us we were really looking forward to Captain D since the one near us is close.

We have ordered from here several times, and each time has been awesome. Not only is the store clean, but the staff is VERY friendly and they are on top of their jobs. From the popcorn shrimp to the wild Alaskan salmon, each food we have ordered has been PERFECT. And I don’t say that lightly. The lovely lady at the register always treats me very well, and she even knows I like extra sauces ! The baked potatoes are cooked so perfectly you can use your fork to slice right through the skin and all to perfectly mix in butter and sour cream – of which they give you PLENTY!! we really appreciate this kind of service, and i hope the employees see this. They deserve some recognition. Can’t wait to go back! Thank yall!

From all reviews listed this issue seems to be an everyday thing. New location, but food here sucks! Everything I ordered was not fresh. Everything was cold and tasted like it’s been sitting up all day. Fish was already cooked and you can tell they drop back in grease smh so greasy &hard terrible.

Unfortunately I had to eat Captain D’s on yesterday because my family and I went to visit my mother in law at the hospital and I did not feel like cooking ♀️ bad idea, I have not been feeling well every since my stomach hurts terribly the food was not fresh and now I have had a upset stomach since yesterday and to top that they did not get the food order right, so it’s most definitely a NO for me…. Never again will I eat at this place!

I wish I could give zero stars but I can’t. I have been to this establishment twice. I order the number 1 which is the giant fish sandwich combo each time I told the young lady not to add lettuce add cheese. Both times they added lettuce and no cheese. I went a third time and order 2 pc fish I asked for fries and green beans with a order of Mac and cheese and still got that wrong. I didn’t get my Mac and cheese the drink wasn’t a Sierra Mist instead it was a lemonade. Yea I’m won’t be going back. I would’ve taken it back but I live 30 minutes away.
