At our Hendersonville, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I was just waited on by Tonya in the drive thru. I’ve never had such excellent customer service from an individual, especially in food service. Even though she was very busy…she gave exceptional service. People like Tonya are truly deserving of praise and if Captain D’s were smart they’d give her a raise as she works very hard with a smile on her face that customers absolutely appreciate and makes a big impression. I’ve only found rude and unkind customer service reps in every type of business. Tonya is set apart by being so exceptional! I realize that I’ll get a response by an algorithm from the “owner” of Captain D’s saying they appreciate my business etc….but listen….someone needs to actually reward this woman in some way. I’ll ask her the next time I go there to eat.

I ordered what was suppose to be a fish sandwich but I have no idea what this shyt was. This did not taste like fish!!! It was tasteless and soggy. The bread was not fresh. Just overall pure garbage. The meat inside was saturated in oil and was a mushy texture that fell apart. I will be reaching out to corporate to get a full refund!!! They either changed the fish or the cook didn’t know what they were doing. See for yourself.
