At our Montgomery, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Lady at the drive through attitude is awful and she stated at the drive through window ask did I want something else besides tarter sauce. I told her no you can keep the order if it’s no tarter sauce that made her even more disrespectful .They had it in the back and she didn’t feel like going to the back another lady came from the back with two little cups smdh I want be back!

Staff was very attentive and professional while providing service on 05/01. I arrived with roughly 5 cars in front of me and 4 waiting.Each car was attended to within 10minutes.The male employee bringing out each order was friendly as well.The food was fresh, served hot and delicious.

After waiting in line for over twenty minutes to order our food, we were told to “wait” once again. After waiting an additional five minutes I blew my horn. The so-called General Manager come out the back door asking me “did I blow the horn” I answered yes and he made an aggressive and nasty gesture for me “to leave”. I told him that I have been waiting for over twenty minutes and I wasn’t just going to “pull off” after waiting so long and asked him repeatedly for his name which he refused to give me. His explanation was there was only 2 people working. And that I must “leave” in an aggressive manner and began to curse at me and my family. If not for the persistence of my wife I would have addressed his foul behavior in kind. Needless to say I Shall Not return to this location. How can You Operate a restaurant with only two employees. If this is the quality of a “manager” or “General Manager” then this should be brought to the attention of The Regional Manager. As far as the Conduct and Behavior of this Employee, it is Totally Unacceptable and Should be addressed Internally by someone from Corporate.
