At our Eufaula, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Short staffed. Today friend and I went for lunch. I ordered grilled salmon with broccoli and green beans and unsweetened tea. Friend was served quickly. After a considerable wait, I was served grilled white fish and sweet tea.

Went up there to get the Cajun catfish and I guess they read it wrong but they gave me 2 tiny pieces that look like it been sitting

It took 15 mins to get a grilled salmon plate where I ordered broccoli and corn. I didn’t get the broccoli, and the corn was so badly over cooked. The rice had a funny smell. Overall it wasn’t a 12.00 meal.

The service was good. However, the food wasn’t that good. There weren’t many people in there, so the atmosphere was ok

These fish are soooooo small, dry, mostly breading 1/8th inch of dry fish. Hushpuppies raw, old terrible meal. Tea was sour. Fish smaller than the tiny hushpuppy. Slaw was was ok.

This particular establishment should be shut down if half of their menu is really out. We went multiple times and get the same results almost everytime. Sometimes it’s fresh other times it’s just thrown together. For the workers I applaud ya for keeping ya composure but that is not it. I would not recommend

This place is pathetic. Cooks want to argue with the manager. No one in the kitchen were wearing hair nets and were very disrespectful to the front end help. Someone needs to pay a visit to this store.

Everything was hot, fresh, and yummy! The fish was nice and crispy too. Also, I asked for extra sauce and I received it with no pushback or attitude and that matters to me! My only complaint would be that my bread stick was super dry. Normally they’re way better. This part isn’t a complaint, but I wish the girl at the window had been less gloomy. I tried to lighten up her mood by being friendly, but I think she was going through something and I hope whatever she was dealing with got better for her! ❤️

The guy taking the order wasn’t paying attention at all to what I was saying and asked me to repeat everything I said 4 or 5 times. Then when I got to the window he was in the lobby and asked me again what my order was. Very frustrating. The cashier never apologized or anything. The food was burnt and overcooked. The sweet tea tasted like pure sugar nothing else. Only reason I stopped because my stepson wanted it. Will not make a special trip to this place. Horrible service, horrible food. If I could give it no star or half a star I would not worth a whole star

Captain D’s is not exactly a five-star restaurant but I have to say in this sleepy little town in Alabama it was five stars… The cooks and staff were just all sweethearts and went out of their way to make sure that my food was prepared the way I like it and fast.. FYI if you go in the west parking lot entrance and swing wide there is a lot of room to turn a 53102 in a conventional tractor around without hitting anything
