At our Guntersville, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Frist time eating here. Service not so great. Cashier took awhile to place in our order. Dine in, employee calling out orders, SUPER RUDE. Lobby was filthy. Decided to eat at home ask for a to-go bag and 2 employee rolled there eyes at me. I will not be visiting this location again

18:36 Monday June 19th 2023 I sent My Mom to pick up supper I paid for the seafood feast they forgot my Green beans I tried calling the store 4 times my mom tried calling about 5 no one answered i love their food however this is the 5th time they’ve forgotten to give me my entire order usually it’s my hush puppies last time it was a piece of fish they’re nice and understanding but need to work on making sure everything is accounted for in the order

USED to be fresh food with a speedy drive through and good customer service. Not sure what has happened since December 2022 but each time I have tried the wait times in drive through is obnoxiously long (30-40 minutes). Orders incorrect and fish is soggy. I for one will not return.

Clean enviornment, freindy employees, but there are flies everywhere. Couldnt eat in peace because i was constantly swatting them away. Also, my food was on a styrofoam plate?, which i guess is fine but ive never seen that before

I had not eaten at a Captain D’s for some time and I don’t cook anymore since my wife passed and it was Good Friday I wanted a fish dinner I wasn’t sure of what to order going thru the drive thru I ordered a fried item I didn’t really want and when I got to the window to pay I asked them if they didn’t have something that wasn’t fried and to my amazement they told me of their grilled options and even changed my order that was already being cooked to one of there grilled items was able to get a big baked potato and vegetable this place was GREAT the service excellent and more food that I could eat the portions were large and cooked perfectly

Stopped in after a long night of basketball games. Google store hours and the listing says 10pm, pull in at 9:17pm and the place was lit up. Menu was still on and we sat at the menu waiting to order. No one ever spoke so we pulled to the front to go in. Sign on door says closed at 9pm. Please adjust your hours on Google. Drove to Wendy’s and spent our money there instead. Will not be back.
