At our Centre, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I always enjoy a piece or two of fish! This Captain D”s hit the spot ! Service was fast and the place was clean! They also have great catfish plates with some healthy vegetables sides and cole slaw with hush-puppies. Sweet tea is always good! Nice to make a stop in to enjoy a good sit-down dinner before turning in from the long road.

I felt bad for the three employees that were there. Seems like someone didn’t show for their shift. They were still very pleasant. But the food. I ordered spicy fish and I couldn’t chew it. Just not up to par but I don’t think the employees were at fault cause they were working so hard.

ordered the lobster bite delux platter. was missing the lobster bites on 2 plates. the cold slaw was horrible…. the loaded baked potato had nothing but cold cheese on a cold potato. will never eat there again!!!!

My wife ordered a Supreme sampler meal with fries and a loaded baked potato I’ve lived in centre for over a decade and not have eaten here and I won’t order from here again. Not only were the fries cold and hard but I got 1 chicken tender that tasted like fish the other was to hard to eat I did not receive my shrimp so I couldn’t give a quality rate the fish was okay oil could be changed but best part of the meal was the hush puppies tbh..
